A mix of metroidvania and dark souls, this is one of the best games I've ever played. Very hard to put down once you get started, you'll want to see what's beyond the next area. You get a genuine sense of discovery when you figure out how to use your tools and abilities to reach the next area. The environments are large but never feel empty, there's so much charm and detail, the music and visuals are stunning. Difficulty feels just right, a tad more difficult than your average metroidvania game but not as difficult as a souls game.

I tried this game in PS Now when I had a 7 day free trial of the service (I would never use PS Now otherwise as I'm against digital games and services) and really like the gameplay, artstyle and the world of this game. So I decided to buy a physical copy so I get to own this game. Oh man what a great decision that was. This game has a large map in the box and get ready for this; a ACTUAL MANUAL BOOKLET. Can you believe this? AMAZING!! So impressed that I told all my friends about it and many will be buying this game because we want to support amazing games that have manuals in the box just like it used to be and still should be. I cannot recommend this game highly enough because this is the complete package. An amazing single player adventure set in a beautiful world with great game play comes in a great physical edition with an actual map and a MANUAL in the box. Because of the manual in the box, I had to write a review right away to let people know to buy this game and support the developers and publisher of this game.

This is one of the best games I've ever played. After finishing it, my gf picked it up and played through it as well. It was so good, I enjoyed watching her play the game. The soundtrack is absolutely amazing. This is our 4th copy of the game (we each have it on PC, Switch and PS4 now) Once you get into the game, it pulls you in and won't let you go. Everything about this game was top notch, from the combat to the movement and soundtrack.

I decided to get this game because of the artistically expansive levels and quirky characters. I am a huge fan of Metroidvania type games & hands down this was one of the best reviewed. After playing it I am now aware of why it is critically acclaimed. Super fun , Smart & beautiful to boot. 10 out of 10 !

Great music, visuals, and simply addictive. Imagine a mini version of Castlevania with hand drawn art. I’ve played this for almost 10 hours so far and I’m still intrigued.

Hollow knight is a very difficult challenge and is considered the dark souls of the 2d plain games. Its beautifully animated and plays smooth. Must buy for those looking for a cool atmosphere and a tough challenge.

This game is amazing, great combat, wordbuilding, characters, music, and bosses. Such a high skill ceiling with a relatively low skill floor.

Hollow Knight is a great metroidvania style of game. Blending great gameplay, atmosphere and creative art style graphics is on if the best games available of this genre.

At first, it appears simplistic, but when you learn how to gain more “soul”, and efficiently utilize your lives, as well as learn the backstory of the other characters, you sink into the beauty of this game. Not only is the music soothing, the story line is a bit haunting, but definitely heartwarming, and the characters have a charm reminiscent of the animations from Studio Ghibli movies.

This is a phenomenal fun game that pays tribute to older side scrolling games like sonic and kid chameleon, never heard of it and stumbled on it 1 day looking for a new game to try and the price couldn't be beat, glad I didn't miss this one

Okay, I picked this up as a present just because of the cover art. The game has some good reviews and the recipient really enjoys it. He likes the cartoon aspect and the game is fun to play.

Hollow Knight is another great example of a metroidvania. While the market has been flooded with many titles this stands out with its game play and style being top notch.

Great game, package came in excellent quality and on time, I highly recommend buying if you've got an afternoon to set aside for some incredible gameplay.

Hollow Knight is one of the best MetroidVania games out there and everything from the music to the art style is very well done. I can't recommend this game enough.

Anybody that knows about gaming will love this game,this is a work of art,beautiful but dont let the graphics fool you this is not a walk in the park.
