My kid really wanted this game and for the price on Best Buy- I couldn’t say no. They have absolutely loved playing this game. They love the story, characters, game play and artwork. If you are on the fence about this one, just go with it.

Hollow Knight Silksong on Nintendo Switch is everything I hoped for and more. I have spent several hours exploring the new kingdom on my Switch 2 using the free upgrade and it looks amazing. The environments are full of detail and the music sets the perfect mood for both tense and quiet moments. The platforming and combat feel tight and responsive and every new ability adds depth to exploration and fights. The difficulty is challenging but fair. Every boss fight feels unique and requires strategy and timing which makes victories feel satisfying. Playing as Hornet feels fresh compared to the original Hollow Knight and her moveset makes combat faster and more dynamic. There are so many secrets to discover that I keep coming back to explore more corners of the map. If you loved the first game or enjoy Metroidvania style games this is a must play on Switch. The free upgrade makes it run smoother on the Switch 2 and the visuals are beautiful. Pros: Gorgeous environments, tight combat, engaging exploration, satisfying difficulty Cons: None so far the game is polished and enjoyable

I haven't beaten it yet but if you want a game that's fun and will make you want to throw your controller because you died to a basic enemy, this is your game! Nah but for real it's so fun but so hard

Awesome game its very fun and dificult at same time

It's really great, bordering on amazing. The economy is a bit frustrating and the HP on bosses is a touch higher than I feel is necessary but otherwise it's a great difficult search action game.

Hollow Knight: Silksong absolutely blew me away. As a fan of the original, my expectations were sky-high, and somehow this game still exceeded them. The movement feels smoother and more dynamic, the world is even more gorgeous and mysterious, and the combat is faster, sharper, and incredibly satisfying. Hornet is a fantastic protagonist with her own unique style, and exploring Pharloom feels fresh while still capturing the atmospheric magic that made Hollow Knight special. The difficulty is perfectly balanced—challenging but fair—and every new area feels handcrafted with care. Whether you’re returning to the series or jumping in for the first time, Silksong is an absolute must-play. Team Cherry delivered something truly extraordinary. Highly recommended!

Really good and fun game. It’s so difficult though!

Digital download code worked. I got one of the greatest metroidvanias of all time. If you like good games or bugs (the animals not the computer errors) then buy this.

This is probably the best switch game for the money. The game has do much heart and soul, I'm glad team cherry took their time with it.

Very fun game play but difficult If looking for a challenge then pick this up

If you have played Hollow Knight, you will understand the title completely. If you have never played hollow Knight, don’t do this to yourself for your own sanity. This game has moments where you can really appreciate the level of artwork and music and gameplay, other times where you’re flinging your controller across the room and rage quitting. It is classic Hollow Knight at its finest with a character who has far more personality. Christopher Larkin’s soundtrack does not disappoint. If you love Metroidvania’s, this will be right up your alley. I pray for your success and health if you purchase this game

I bought this for my wife as she was the one who drew my attention to the first Hollow Knight (she got frustrated when I surpassed her but it helped her learn how to move forward). Been playing just shy of 40 hours and still so much more to find! Great game, definitely challenging though so be mindful!

The long and most anticipated successor of Hollow Knight has arrived and does not disappoint. Git Gud!
