This is a good fan but it is a bit expensive for what it is. It's easy to assemble (requires no tools) but it's made of very thin plastic, so I am uncertain how long it will last. The control knob feels especially flimsy. Being all plastic, it is light, which would seem to be a good thing, except that it makes it a bit unstable. It's very easy to tip over, although being so light, that poses no real danger. It does put out a good bit of air, and is not terribly noisy - I'd say about average for a fan of this size. I would not call he design stylish, but it is nicer than some utilitarian fans. I had a problem with it that also has me concerned about its quality. I put it together and turned it on, but all it would do is hum - the blade would not spin. I took the grille off to make sure I had not assembled it incorrectly, and spun the blade by hand, which moved freely. I turn it on and still nothing. After leaving it on and then spinning the blades by had, it did start running and has worked since. Overall, this is a decent fan, but the quality is just "acceptable". For the price, I think there are better choices.
