He was polite and resolved the problem my ring alarm was disconnected and not responding he came and checked everything and fixed the problem and was very punctual

Gave three stars because scheduling the install was confusing and frustrating. The ring devices are scheduled separately from the spot light camera; which were purchased at the same time but not included when we scheduled our install date. We were told once the tech was here that we had to make another appointment to install the spotlight cam.

I got this service for free under Total Tech, and the whole setup of my alarm system went really smoothly, and the Geek Squad serviced definitely finished within half an hour and gave me tips for the app too.

The young man did his best to install the ACT Blue Security system but was unable to get all the components online and working. Paying for a service and not getting the desired result was disappointing. He and I agreed that the issue was the ADT Blue Security system and its inability to communicate effectively. He did what he could according to his training. $142 spent with no resolution.

The security cameras are exactly what I was wanting.

Called before arrival, on time, efficient process and very patient in explaining things to me about the device. They took their time and made sure they asked if I had any questions before they left.

Called before coming to give me time of arrival, explained everything being installed, showed be how to use the equipment, friendly, knowledgeable, and called the following day to ask if I had any questions on how to use the equipment I will use their services in the future and recommend them to family and friends

Ring system works great. Free install from Best Buy can’t be beat. Took a full day for four installers plus a couple of Followup days. The guys were very professional.

The Geek Squad was great. That team that did the garage deserves a bonus. We love them!!! HOWEVER….. The installer for the alarm system was not good. He STILL needs to come out and get the alarm system to work properly and this is his 3rd or 4the time having to come out. Silly mistakes on the part of the installer and on Keith’s part. We like Keith but he upsells and doesn’t really pay attention to the details. In addition I have reached out two times on this remaining alarm system issue and he has not responded.

Had trouble the first week. Didn’t work battery dead. Not sure if I like this

I really like the ring security system I definitely think it was worth the money I paid for it and in the long run it beats paying a monthly fee for a system like ADT

Although this was not cut and dry, even with the cameras already in place, the technician did not give up until it was hooked up and working properly. He was also friendly and conducted self distancing and wore his mask for the 2 1/2 hours it took for the camera system and also hooking up my home theatre speakers to my new receiver

WE ARE NOT TECHY AT ALL---BUT AFTER I RESEARCHED HOME SECURITY SYSTEMS, I WANTED THIS ONE. AND I WANTED IT FROM BEST BUST BECAUSE I COULD HAVE MY GEEK SQUAD/TOTAL TECH TEAM HELP US WITH THE INSTALLATION AND SET UP.

Excellent customer service. Tech contacted us before arriving to our home to install. We were able to order additional items because tech was still at the store. Love the text invoice to pay via cell phone. My Best Buy is a one stop shop. Thanks for taking care of us.

conscientious installers. made sure I knew how everything worked. my only gripe is that they can't touch 110v house wires so they installed the alarm that can be powered as a battery powered alarm. if I'd known they couldn't touch 110v, I would have wired and plugged it in myself. I fixed it after they left.

I never ended up hiring them. They were actually misinformed when they said they’d be able to install it, because my contacts were wireless. The device I bought to use are for wired contacts only. Also the price they quoted when they thought it would work was higher than I would have expected

The gentleman was very accommodating and professional. Wish he had more experience installing and setting up my simple safe alarm system. I’m still working with the manufacturer to solve the problem of installing the outdoor cameras
