I bought this for my living room and the smaller one for my bedroom. I am still learning how to use them, but I am anxious to have a smart house.

The Google Home is quite useful. I have mine setup in the kitchen. I ask for weather updates when I don't feel like pulling out my phone. I use it to set multiple reminders. I also use it to play different artists or songs from my Google Play music library. The speakers sound great. I no longer have to pair my phone up to my Bluetooth speaker to listen to music while cooking.

I already own multiple Amazon Echo devices but thought I would give the Google Home a try. It is very responsive to voice commands and the sound quality is solid. However, at least at this point, the Amazon Echo is leaps and bounds ahead of google home. Especially when it comes to the smart product intagration

This was a gift for my husband, who we lovingly call "Question Quaid". He is always curious! He loves his Google Home Assistant!! It was so easy to use, just plug it in and there you go. And, surprisingly, she always has an answer for him! We want one for every room. So nice to use for an alarm clock, play Pandora, get the weather, it does so much! And the grandkids love her too!

Google Home is simply a smart novelty with access to YouTube Music, built-in Google Cast and the ability to save you a trip to the light switch.

This device is so much fun and does so much more than I had thought. I was initially going to buy an Amazon Echo dot, but upon the recommendation of the salesman, I bought this instead. The speaker is very loud, it does a lot of nifty things, it even makes a grocery list and sends it directly to my phone. I use it to explain things, tell me jokes, listen to music, and as an alarm.

There are few things that the Google Home cannot do. I use it to organize and keep track of my schedule with Google Assistant, which is amazing.

Got this as add on to my google mini and for a Christmas gift.... And love the features..of course is not perfect. But it works for us overall ☺

Wow, this is really a fun product. It's one you will enjoy for years to come! I asked it to play music. It began playing. I then asked for a specific type of music and in a few seconds I had it. Next I asked for a specific song and in a moment it was playing. Whatwver I ask, it politely answers just like Siri or Google, but it's spectrum is significantly wider. I love this product!

Bought for an elderly parent who can't use the computer but wants information on a variety of topics...can easily ask questions and get results.

I purchased Google Home after watching the Google roll out for it. The Amazon Alexa is a little more advanced right now but expect that to change very fast. Alexa is tied to Bing for its search engine which will limit its ability compared to Googles search engine. I have automated my whole house using Google home, Lights, TV, Sound system all run by voice control. Great choice!

I purchased this for my mom and she loves it. Sets alarms, plays music, asks about weather, etc. Were gonna get her set up with Hue lights soon.

Google's "horse in the race" answer to Amazon's Echo in creating a "smart house.". Too often answers questions like a teenager would answer a parent's inquiry (i.e- parsimony of info). Completely evident that it is the "toe in the door" to induce the consumer to purchase its sibling accessories (voice activated lights with color and level changing capability, thermostats, home security, sprinklers, music/television monitor streaming capability via Google Chromecast, adult toys (well, maybe not yet...), etc. Will play requested music from your subscribed sources, playlists or will offer a substitute to your requested song. It is Big Brother manifested in an inoffensive small, not-unattractive unit that is "ALWAYS listening!" ( I instructed it to turn itself off...it WOULDN'T!) For anyone familiar with HAL of 2001 Space Odyssey, well, he's been busy. On a high mark, it is very good for accessing news from numerous news sources (though, not breaking news). Also, I understand Google will be enabling them in the not too distant future to be able to make voice activated calls from one's call list.
