Overall, I like Google Home. It has pretty good speakers built in and can play music. I don't have any home automation products as of yet, so I cannot comment on those features. It still cannot read my messages or send them. It also has limited things it is able to cast onto a screen for you. I believe they are still adding features, but it has been a slower process than I hoped.

Great for asking trivia questions, weather, controlling home devices. With Google behind it, and regular updates, this is my choice of assistant.

Got these for giveaways at a conference. Our guests loved the present. Alexa user for few weeks and planning to return alexa and get google home.

Bought these as gifts for Xmas. They are the hit of the season. Probably the first electronic gift that my wife actually uses. She claims that I bought it for myself - deny, deny, deny. I love the way I was able to like all the speakers in my house and garage to Google Home so easily. Highly recommend. Did my research and I believe Home will eventually surpass Alexa.

I love it. We had an Alexa but it barely worked properly. We tried SONOS and it was slightly better but this Google Home - better than everything we've tried so far. It's loud, responsive, has great answers, and appears to do a lot more than the others. You could get the mini but it lacks the bass and volume and it doesn't pick up your voice as good.

I have both the google home and the mini. You can ask it anything and it gives you the info. Turn on music, any music and it plays it! Set alarms, recipes, reminders, weather, turn on and off your lights (hue), temperature, traffic updates, and the list goes on! We love it!!! We’re purchasing the nest next to control the thermostat. Highly recommend!

This is a good product, but still needs additional functionality built out in order for this to be as useful as it could be. I'd like to see the ability to send text messages, initiate calls, set reminders and appointments on my google calendar, ect. It's a good first step into the smart home products by good. Integrates nicely with my Nest Thermostat and it was very easy to setup.

Googles ecosystem is fractured to say the least, why can I not ask my Google home to play Netflix on my ANDROID tv? Why does it tell me it's not supported YET? (The only way to make this feature work is with use of a chrome cast peripheral) It's nice enough to come with a music trial for your new Google home but after your trial you will not be able to ask Google to play songs anymore. Without subscriptions it remains a novelty that can look up information on the internet and regurgitate it back to you with its robotic voice. It doesn't have as many app connectivity as the echo either. The one plus I can think of is that the built in speaker is actually a good sounding speaker. Music sounds nice and clear across the room. Google Home needs a lot of work and Google needs to integrate all of its systems much better

Works great. Easy to setup. Quality is very good and nice looking.

This will make a excellent gift for my daughter it will help make her daily mornings easier cannot wait for her to open for Christmas =)

The home device is incredibly accurate - I am surprised at how well it knows the context of a question. It does great at playing music and basic things like telling the news or the weather. The main drawbacks are its limited features (which is really annoying when it interferes with the Google Pixel). For example, reading email or setting a reminder. That should come with updates.

I have this in my kitchen and love it. Good sound and very intuitive.

The built in speaker is better than expected. It doesn’t sound as good as some high end speakers, but it’s better than other smart home products. The Google Assistant has room for improvement. You have to say some things just right for it to understand and it sometimes has trouble with things that seem quite simple. It works great with my Nest thermostat.

I have this, the Amazon Echo, and Echo Dot. Google Home is truly giving Amazon a run for their money. One are where Google Home truly excels is in answering questions. Echo is somewhat limited in this area, but Google Home is backed by Google's extensive search capabilities. Very good speaker and voice recognition and the available pool apps is growing all the time.
