I'm still a bit creeped out by the idea that it is listening to everything we say, waiting for us to say, "Okay, Google!" or "Hey, Google," but once I push past that, I have to say this thing is fun and useful. We ended up getting 3 more for other parts of the house.

The set up was easy but confusing with setting it up with the chrome features. Fun games. The only thing i really Vann complain about is the (hey google) i wish that could be changed. Over all the speaker sounds great just by itself and it can hear your commands from a good distance away.

My students love asking Google Home questions. It is a quick way for us to find answers to questions they have when in the library.

This thing has a serious kick! It can be heard from the garage or clear across your home. I highly recommend it to stream your music! Along with using it’s smaller more compact mini google homes with it with the group device feature it’s a great tool to use to broadcast messages throughout the house. It’s an awesome device and I’m just open it up.

Easy to set up and provided good sound quality when playing music.

Had a few Alexa. I was tired of hearing her tell me she couldn't find an answer for my questions. Replaced them with Google homes!!

Unllike Alexa, Google Home doesn't make fun of me or laugh at me randomly. It also can communicate with my SmartThings, and Harmony. I can easily ask Google to turn on lights, to Turn on my TV and change channels. I can even use Google to find my phone when I lose it.

If you want to begin smart home functions or add to your existing system, this is a great way to do it. This speaker is reliable and is compatible with many smart home devices. I don't think it has as much compatibility as Alexa, but it's close. The question recognition is better though. Also, the music sound is good as well.

I got one of these as a gift a year ago. It has been a really fun device and I'm still learning more and more what it can do. I am so impressed that I bought seven of them to give as gifts to my staff this year. They have been very well received! Google is amazing and the big sound you can get out of it leaves the competition in the dust!

My wife bought this for me for Christmas and I use it everyday. Pros: Works in a noisy environment If you like all the features of google you will love this Controls my thermostat and lighting and music The sound quality is great and the voice recognition works very well Cons: Some of the features require paid subscriptions to things like Spotify or Youtube

Liked size and convenience of google home. Easy to use, accurate

Had an issue with the mics on the first one but Best Buy replaced it, no questions asked and the replacement works perfect. New updates are popping up out of no where. The recognition this thing has is probably the craziest and the best part. It catches anything I throw at it goofy nicknames, silly jokes. My kid loves it, I'm about to get him one of his own

The Google home is amazing. We haven't even begun to see the potential it has, ask it just about anything and it is happy to help.

The sound quality of the speaker is much better than I expected. My music tastes are pretty eclectic. I’ve listened to jazz, blues, hard rock,and big band albums. Of course it’s not as good as my full stereo but still pretty good and much more convenient. The google assistant is a blast. My grandson thinks it is the coolest thing ever.

I love using it for three things: 1) Setting alarms in the kitchen for cooking; 2) Asking it to play music. 3) Watching my daughter ask it what various animals sound like. There are so many possibilities... and I've heard "that feature is not here yet... check back soon!" way too many times. It will eventually be life changing -- but it's not quite there yet.

Only reason for 4 stars is that if my phone is too close to the Google home then both respond to me. Otherwise I am happy with the product.

I have an Amazon Alexa and understand that Alexa is so new to being a Personal Assistant, Futuristic Aide. But Google has been around for sometime. So getting Google Home needed to be something I wanted to add to my Home Automated System, as Alexa wasn't cutting it. Google so far has been great out of the box. I really enjoy this new addition to our home.

Simple to use. There is a world of commands and fully voice recognition.
