Our family loves google home. We have purchased it for other family members and the children also are having the best time with it.

Excellent sound and very handy for taking outside to hear music using Google Play Music. Doesn't allow voice to be altered for those with hearing issues, but otherwise works fine. Ours controls hall light and Honeywell thermostat. Set up for these applications using Wemo requires some patience. Waiting for software updates so more useful in answering questions.

Google home is a good product as a personal assistant and when paired with chromecast its efficient to automate audio and video streaming with voice commands. We use it effectively with our toddlers to teach them new sounds. However i still see that it does not pick up the commands sometimes when there is a distant background noise. This could have been made better.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my wife. The only compatible devices we currently have are Chromecasts, but it is very neat to be able to tell Google to pay a video from YouTube on the bedroom tv, etc. We plan on getting a Nest or similar thermostat and maybe some smart outlets/light switches on the future. The trivia game is also kind of neat.

Bought it immediately, fiddled a bit with some of the smart options.. meh so far as a music speaker quite good, Still waiting to see how it progresses. I am a longtime user of Google products including various iterations on Goggle/Android TV (and Chromecast) as well as most Nexus Phones and ChromeBooks... So it is still in the experiment stage with good prospects...

Google Home is a quality product, based on two current observations: 1. Microphone and sound quality are excellent, consistency of awareness for requests is high and quality of audio in response is crisp. 2. Quality of responses via internet queries are accurate and prompt Looking forward to integrating with more smart devices in the house - that remains limited.

I got this as a free gift with a Chromebook purchase which was a very nice extra gift. It has its limitations but since I didn't pay anything for it, I can't really complain. It has nice audio and is very easy to play music which is one of the best things about it. It doesn't sync as well as I had hoped with other devices, but it is still fun to have.

Our daughter bought this as a gift for us, and to be honest...we didnt know what to do with it! Once you get it connected to wi-fi...it's actually really cool and intuitive. From asking whatever random question you can think of, to asking it to play your favorite music...to just saying funny things to get it to banter with you, we've really enjoyed it.

I cannot even explain how much fun I'm having with this product. The easter eggs are a little dorky, but I don't even care at all!

easy to set up great for music very happy with purchase

While I didn't know exactly what to expect with my purchase... I quickly found the Google Home to be a helpful addition to my tech collection. Whether it's playing music or setting an alarm, the Home is a convenient piece of tech. With the upcoming addition of voice calling, I can only see my family becoming more reliant on this little magical talking speaker.

I originally bought this for my daughter, but it has so many applications I quickly took it over and have exploring all its capabilities.

I love my google home. The white and gray matches my decor. It is very easy to use and being handsfree is an asset. The whole family is able to use it. Helps with so many things like making a shopping list, helping solve homework problems, weather reports, sports updates and plays music on command amongst many other possibilities, too many to list.

Wish you could rename it to something else. Saying 'Okay Google' and have 3 different devices answer you (2 phones) kinda gets annoying.

The Google Assistant is hands down the best on the market. It can answer more questions and has a vast list of things it can do.

I love the google home because it ties into all my google things. It can play my google music, start casts to my Chromecast, and hear appointments on my google calendar. However this is still very much a 1.0 product. There are still a lot it cant do yet. It cant set appointments on my calendar or even have reminders. I am hoping they add a lot more in the near future.

It has pretty decent mics and a worthy speaker. It's not the best at understanding, but it does an okay job. It works well for controlling smart home devices. It's not yet in The big leagues when it comes to voice controlling video via chromecast. It can control Netflix, Youtube, and CBS all access, but that's it. It can't even control Google Play movies.

Was going back and forth between buying this or the amazon. Bought this google home on sale during thanksgiving sale and so far so good. This has been amazing, from asking addresses, phone numbers, trivia questions and listening to music, setting up your alarms, etc. Its been a great pleasure owing google home and thank you Best Buy for the great sale.

I had previously owned an Echo Dot, but it just wasn't cutting it (no-Google Play Music), so I decided to try out the Google Home. The speakers are nice and clear, and the Home itself is able to easily blend in with the rest of the room. If you're looking for a smart assistant to control your home & double as a speaker, this is the one to get.
