All our family uses it for music, time/temp, kids homework etc. purchasing minis for each of our rooms.

The speaker on this is way better than the mini, and the use of assistant for playing music is helpful. The sound fills a room and the levels are fairly well balanced. The bass could pack some more punch but that's what a stereo system is for.

It is an awesome device. Works great with google chrome. Has trouble with voice command with background noise

Was expecting better sound for a speaker with a regular price of $99. Not with regular price. Got a pair of these on clearance for the price of a Google home Mini for each so no complaints here. Paid the speakers together. Sounds better than a home Mini.

not many people spooke up when I was doing my research. I may have even been miss lead. See everything I own is Microsoft. Witch not for lack of trying. Does not play nice with google. But prety much just affected the 3rd step in easy setup.getting app. I'm shopping for an android device now. But did get it working on limited scale. My son came up & did quick basic setup. So with snap of fingers can get scores games for week. Spelling of words. She started with good sounding receipt.but trips to market up here. Not par for coarse favorite is. When talking to my boss & he is starting his pc. Up. To check weather (is important up here) and I just say ok google how many feet of snow. & now she has learned reads the weather forecast before he can even log on. I like it has fit nice into zome needs. But just a tease of what it can do the more I work with it. It does learn.

The sound quality is very good for a speaker I can tell what music to play. Other than asking it to play a certain song or set an alarm, I haven't used a lot of the extra functionality. I don't have a lot of smart devices but I've found a lot of times I ask it to do things it says sorry I haven't learned that yet.

Sometimes the Google home has a hard time understanding the commands we give it. Other than that I would highly recommend the Google Home. We can control our lights, tv, thermostat, and music with just the sound of our voice. It is easy to customize to our preference. We are well pleased!

My kids love Google home so much we have to buy 4 more. They would like to have one each of their own.

Works great as expected. This is the 2nd home we have and put the old one in our bedroom. We have google minis throughout the house too. So this was just an addition. It's nice to bounce questions off anytime needed. Or turn things off/on in any room.

this is my first purchase on this product, hope it will be what i expect of it. my only Christmas gift

I really enjoy using my Google Home as a bedroom speaker. It sounds great and has excellent bass. I find it very convenient to just say, "OK Google, play some music" in order to start a playlist from Google Music. It can also be used to Cast audio from Chrome and YouTube that plays in sync with the video.

Wasn't sure what to expect because I hadn't considered buying one. It came free with purchase of Google Plus. My wife and I were complatelet surprised at how terrific it is. It's small, but sounds great, and it understands and responds to our questions/commands from across the room. Love it!

Does great searching for info. Most types of music you ask it to play requires some kind of pay subscription.

Recently received this google home speaker free with the purchase of a kitchen set. Have not used yet.

Very easy to use and everyone that has seen it in use has gone out and bought one. It gives quick responses and the ability to hook up to chromecast is a big plus. I do hope that Google continues with updates to provide more tasks, specifically the ability to make calls and text. Overall, a great buy for a fair price.

This has been so nice. My kids ask google questions, we are able to get our agenda for the day by asking what's on our calendar, it plays anything and everything we want to hear from pop, country, classical...you name it google can play it. I have no complaints, easy set up and we keep it in our kitchen.

Got this item for Christmas, before getting it I read a lot of online reviews. Pros- Easy to use Speaker picks up commands even when loud tv is on Cons- dosnt play nice with primary google calendar events. I found the only events it reads out are the ones that are created by invites or from appointments created.

Besides having to say those words everytime I want to talk to it, I love it. Besides the convenience of having the assistant there, I also enjoy trying to fool it and see exactly what it can do. When it is paired with chromecast and Nest, it's awesome. I'm really getting spoiled by the convenience of it.

Fun addition to the family! Answers our questions, makes our shopping lists while we're cooking and running out of stuff, plays the news, weather, and music, and sets the timer for homework and music practice. It's great to have another set of hands (albeit virtual) to help keep our household running....
