All that I’d heard it would be! We are super pleased with the functionality of our new Google Home!

The Google Home is a great purchase. I use it for news, music, directions, facts, etc..., and have not been disappointed. I also connected the Philips hue lighting as well, which works great. It has great sound. I am very impressed and look forward to what Google has in store for future development.

Google Home is very good. Does a lot, but ready for it to do more. I want it to be able to add items to my calendar and read back my google shopping list. I know it will eventually. Do enjoy listening to music, playing games with it, getting weather updates and asking many questions. Would definitely recommend.

Google home was a gift for my boyfriend. He loves it! It is just like having a personal assistant!

I suppose that it is a sign of tech overload that I don't get that excited about all these tech toys. Perhaps it's because I have worked in IT since 1969. This is basically a helpful although expensive utility toy that helps around the house with simple questions and aids in home automation control. I have 2 this size and 3 of the minis. Mostly just used for weather reports, turn on/off lights, questions about basic things such as celebrity age, capital cities, you name it. I route music from Pandora or Spotify to the devices. As speakers they are OK, although since I'm going deaf I'm not all that picky about sound quality. I guess the only thing I could quibble about is the volume control; it seems hard to consistently apply changes. I suppose that's because I do it so seldom that I forget where to poke. My problem with most of this stuff is the integration with other devices and the service restrictions imposed by the various parties (Amazon, Google, Sonos, et al. For me they are interesting toys around the house.

This product is very useful for answering random questions that come up and also for playing music throughout the day . You can also link it to your existing programs such as Pandora or Google play . Also has the option to be able to link it to digital household thermostat system .

I was very excited to get the Google Home! I like the way the AI can understand and respond to "natural conversation". Right now The best uses come from playing music on Spotify, News and current events and weather. I haven't used the smart home features but I a looking forward to new features as they come out!

The Google Home is pretty neat for the whole family. My wife loves to get recipes and create grocery lists from it. My daughter uses it to play her favorite artist's music from Pandora. I like to use it for general Google questions. Pretty simple setup and links to your iPhone to send recipes and grocery lists.

Google home offers a wealth of information. it's like having information available online through a search engine but not having to type. It is very easy to set up and works seamlessly with many of the devices I own. Although I wish it was compatible with my honeywell thermostat using the hue hub.

Purchased this as a gift for my son. Connects directly with his phone... works great! He LOVED it!

We've had several Google Home speakers for over a year and we really enjoy them. Primarily use them to listen to music, control lights and set timers. My only complaint is that the microphone does struggle to hear/understand when there's more than one conversation going on in the area.

My family has been using the google home while we're all lounging in the living room or in the kitchen. I bought it for my dad and he's been using it for lists, weather, and music. It's been fun interacting with it and seeing what it's capable of. Hopefully some improvements start making their way to it soon

I still enjoy our Amazon Alexa more, but this google home is a pretty good contender. The voice commands don't always hit their mark, but I am impressed by the sound quality and the option to customize the color of this unit. With a little more time, it may, just maybe become as good as Amazon Alexa.

I bought this for a Christmas gift sooo wont know how good it works till the person tries it out.

Wonderful device. I use it to turn my TV on & off. I also use it to control my 2 Nest Thermostat!

Like the design and adaptability to command. However the choices of song playlists can be better.

I am fully immersed in the google ecosystem so I love the Google Home speaker/assistant. the best thing this has over the Amazon Echo at this point is that you can do multiroom audio, otherwise it is still playing catchup to the echo. the speaker itself sounds good and it looks good on my counter

Loving the product. Surprisingly good sound quality and volume, and discrete footprint and design. Love using as speaker, getting news updates and podcasts, controlling tv, and answers to random questions. Anxious to see additional capabilities as time progresses, particularly calendar and reminder integration.

I got this as a Valentines day gift. I absolutely love it and its so easy to use. Google home assistant is very entertaining and I like that you can turn off the microphone if you dont want her to listen. I think the metal bases are way to expensive and I wish they had a pink one in the cloth.
