Google home. And mini are useful digital assistants & I would recomend them to my friends!

Bought 5 of this and it works decently, would have been great if it works with Apple Music

I was expecting more from this device (i.e., ability to set reminders on calendar, be able to connect with phone), but I also did not research the device's ability. For an impromptu timer and music player, this is an amazing product. I enjoy the functionality, but I was left wanting more.

Some good functionality - can hear your request at a whisper, across the room, even when it's playing loud music. Great for asking general info and playing music, but is still rather limited. Can't wait for them to add features and new functionality - hopefully they will be doing that very soon!

With smart technology currently being used in today's world, this item suits it perfectly!

I bought this for my husband because he was always picking up his phone and saying "hey google". Ha! This is a great product if you just want to ask a question. There have been a few times when it doesn't have an answer but the cell phone does. This is why I rated the product a 4.

Great product . seamless installation and works well with my harmony hub and other smart devices.

Everything is expected how it uses but only one thing wish, needs more range for voice activator

"Hey Google" isn't the most common phrase around the household but soon will be. Google gives vastly superior answers to questions over Alexa and Siri. This is my only Google Home at this location so I cannot speak to the ability to "Play on the Everywhere Group" like Alexa does, usually well. And the voice command light controls are not as intuitive with the Hue system as Alexa or Apple Home (winner in this category). Sound quality is adequate but I'd admit that the new Echo edges it in this category. I won't be reviewing Apple's speaker anytime soon due to expense. Tapping into the power of Google's search engine over whatever garbage Amazon and Apple use (Bing, maybe?) is a rewarding experience and what makes the Google Home shine! As an experiment ask Google how to cook hard-boiled eggs in the oven. Then ask Siri and Alexa without wishing you could talk to their programmers. I haven't even asked Cortana. When will she be relevant to the discussion?

It's has a great sound for it's small sound. Initially it had free you tube subscription, once that expired we are not able to find the music we wanted, wish that Google music had more choices. I guess nothing comes free... Otherwise it's a really nice device to get the news, weather etc.

Google Home seems to understand me better than Alexa, and have better results. That said, the Amazon Echo's speaker is better sounding. But considering Google Home is significantly cheaper, it makes it a great deal

After reading several reviews decided this product was the best for our purposes. It was easy to set up and we all had fun with asking questions. Some requests have to be reworded to get a response, but all in all has provided information that was asked of it and provided entertainment too.

I'll say that going into this I almost returned it in favor of getting the echo but now that I'm used to it I am definitely glad I didn't. Google home is very similar to echo in that it's a smart speaker that plays music, can create shopping lists, and occasionally keeps your guests entertained. The main selling point of the Google Home in my opinion has to be how easily it controls cast enabled devices. Just say "Hey Google, play The Flash from Netflix on "insert cast device name here" and it starts playing. It even knows how to stop, start from the beginning, skip ahead 10 minutes, or turn up or down the volume. Another trick I've discovered is that Google home will control any cast device that happens to be running at the time. So say you want to pause Sling TV on a device named living room, you just instruct Google home to pause living room and you're done. Overall so far I'm loving my google home so much I'm not sure how I ever controlled my TV's without it.

I love my Google home it's the best investment ever. It keeps me updated with my calendar, as well as preparing a grocery list and making my home a smart home who could ask for anything more. I would definitely recommend it to family, friends, and even strangers. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

I got this and compared to Echo. In my opinion, Echo won hands down. It is still not bad though,

Good sound. Nice to speak the song you want to hear and have it play, however the voice recognition is not as strong as hoped for. Also must subscribe to you tube red or similar subscription service to play individual songs. Overall have been happy with the purchase though.

It was amazing to see that you can ask Google Home whatever and she will answer. I even asked if the new Nintendo DS came with an AC adapter and Google Home was able to answer my question. I also have the Amazon Echo Dot and asked the same question but Alexa was not able to answer.

I bought this as a gift for my father in law who is not exactly tech savvy and he loves it

I love the google home! It's a big upgrade from the mini, even though it has the same functionality the sound is so much better and it packs a lot of bass for a speaker this sound; I'm impressed!
