Pretty easy to set up using the smart phone app. Besides the usual timers, alarms and basic questions, it can answer How do you say ... in a few languages. Tried asking for Spanish, Mandarin and French. The answers were surprisingly good. The Amazon Echo cannot answer these kind of questions.

Good features, will find this very useful. I like that you can use it as an alarm and a timer.

Love my google home, I use it every morning to check the weather and listen to the news!

I love to ask Google questions! It is so much easier than picking up my tablet and typing in a question or to play some music. Google has helped our family in many ways from solving a discussion to making a grocery list. I would recommend this product to anyone trying to simplify their life.

It responds better than Alexa in some areas. I wish I could connect with Bluetooth like Alexa.

Connects with many smart home appliances and the voice recognition is great, plus the ability to create custom routines. Speaker is decent, good enough for podcasts, news, and music where you aren't overly concerned with strong bass or loud highs.

You can listen to music if set up correctly. I'm not a big fan of this one compared to Alexa. Reminders do not work all the time, and it has less skills built in compared to other speakers. As of sound quality, I'm not disappointed.

Google Home is a great voice assistant and makes everyday tasks so much easier and fun.

The Google home is a nice addition to our smart appliances. It performs exactly as advertised. Very easy to set up. Unfortunately we all have iPhone in our home and I have no idea if I can make it connected to iPhone. Please feel free to suggest if any one already did so.

Not a day goes by where I don't use Google Home. It controls my lighting, it plays my music, it pulls up YouTube videos and podcasts for me. It's a fantastic product right now, and I can't wait to see how it improves in the coming months with the release of the new Assistant API.

I bought this item as a Christmas present for myself. It was super easy to setup and get running. I have not set it up to operate the lights or thermostat and it is possible I never will. Everyone has enjoyed getting weather reports, playing games, and hearing jokes. Well worth the price.

This sounds better than the echo. Has more bass. However, it does not shuffle as well.

This was a Christmas gift for my brother in law. He immediately set it up when he opened it and we used it all Christmas day to play music. He has since taken it home and hooked it up to multiple things in his house and really loves it! Great gift especially for "techie" types!

Google has done a great job improving their voice recognition software which makes Home a breeze to use (a little better than Alexa on Amazon Echo). I live in an apartment, so not too many smart home integrations just yet, I use it all the time in conjunction with my Chromecast.
