Set this up ahead of time so when my 84 yr old mother in law opened the box I had google check the weather at her home town, turn on the lights, and then play music from her favorite artist. She said I have someone to talk to all day...

This ease of use of Google Home far exceeds what Alexa is capable of. Sure, there are a lot of things both can do, but Google just seems to have a more fluid, natural way of being able to talk to and request things from it over Alexa.

Ask it anything and it will give you an answer. Perfect for any home!

Pretty basic entry poing for home automation. But with all the new items coming out and googles ability to update the device its a great place to start. I hadded the Philips Hue lights for the bedroom and love the ability ro control them from here

I am so impressed with the Google Chrome. Purchased it for my nephew for his birthday and we have had so much fun playing with it. The sound is outstanding for music listening and the games are hysterical to play as a family. Well worth the price.

This product is good for the kitchen or dining room. The sound quality is pretty good and google can look up recipes so you can be hands free. You can also use it with your smart lights or smart thermostat.

Very good assistant to help me check my schedule and many other information using only my voice besides helping me interact with other devices in the same network without touching them. And it also has a very good sound quality for its size.

I use this so much more than I thought I would. Listen to music. Tells me the daily news and weather, it plays games with you, tells you jokes, syncs with your Google calendar and remind me of my schedule and reminders, I just love this product!

I've been waiting for ages for Google Home to come out to get started on home automation. I have installed a couple GE smart switches with a Samsung SmartThings Hub, and everything integrates seamlessly. I'm excited to automate the whole house now.

I returned the Amazon echo to get this because I have multiple chromecasts and an Android phone. While it is not currently compatible with my ecobee thermostats, I expect this functionality soon. Works well and the voice recognition is outstanding.

This thing is great ask it pretty much anything and you almost always get a answer and it's even better when you pair it with other things such as the lights or thermostat. This is a great item and is worth having at least one in your house.

I really haven't used it to its potential- for instance shopping lists and calendar appointments. I mostly use it for music and it has very good tone. I hope to utilize the other capabilities soon. But it's easy to forget it's there, it's so unobtrusive

I got this product to tinker around with it and the best part is to randomly play the Pandora App anytime and ask it any question and actually getting quality answers. The music is actually pretty good for the size of the speackers. It is a fun gadget.

I really enjoy my Google home device. I'm still learning the different functions but it has been very functional. I have a google phone, therefore it easy to use the Google assistant. Great purchase.
