Came with some charge on it, which was good. I have been having some extreme back pain from sitting so much. I usually put this behind me for a quick massage and then I can get back up and continue what I was doing. My back sometimes pops afterwards and it feels amazing! The massage is deep, the heat is not (very) or too hot. It takes a while to warm up, but you do not have to worry about burning. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of give is because it's kind of thick, so it's hard to use in certain positions without hurting (i.e., laying down, while laying back on the couch, etc.) you kind of have to position yourself to the side, but that might just be me though. Also the battery life leaves something to be desired, but since you can use it while it's charging that is not really a big deal. The auto-change in direction is nice. Overall I would recommend it.

I had been looking for one of these. This one really works.It was really inexpensive and I had s ok me rewards I used also.

I got this on clearance and it’s very worth it however it’s uncomfortable if you put all your weight on it cause it’s super hard.

I literally use this every single night and I don't even have neck pain to begin with. I bought it for my wife and she loves it, but now so do I. Its just so easy to use, enjoy, and then plug back in overnight for a charge! It also has a heat function but the massage is beyond effective for relaxation and muscle relief!

Massage is powerful. Heat is an added therapeutic bonus. Use it all over not just neck. Tricky to get in some spots but completely worth it when you find the right angle and position. Removing cord helps with trick spots. Battery lasts surprisingly long when not on corded power.

I’m very happy I bought this massage pillow. I use it in the morning as I have coffee to help my lower back ache. The rolling balls feel so good and the heat is comfy too. It’s not super hot but it’s really the massage I wanted. I can use a heating pad or rice bags if I want it hot. I can use my massage pillow three times also on my neck in a day and then I charge it. Good price and good product. It looks great too and I just l leave it on my couch like a throw pillow:)

Shiatsu massagers are either very high quality and very expensive, or very cheap and cheaply made. This product however gave me the best of both worlds, high quality at low cost. First off I love the fabrics. Soft and pliable and long lasting. No fake leather here! The power button is very easy to find and press. I love that this product has a built in battery. I am not tied to an electrical outlet, which is especially nice when laying in bed or sitting in a recliner. The massager has 2 settings, heat and no heat, and pressing the power button cycles you through the settings. The massage itself is very nice. Not too hard or too soft. You can change the pressure depending on how you lay on it. I was pleasantly surprised when it reversed direction. It was like getting 2 massages for the price of one. There was no noise like the motor was straining, and this was with my laying down on it. It does not have to be specifically for your neck either. I found that it gave a very good lumbar massage as well while sitting in a chair. I would definitely buy this again and am so grateful to have found the perfect portable shiatsu massager.

One of the best purchases I've ever made. I use it every night on my back, shoulders, and neck and look forward to it every evening. I golfed a lot all summer long so my back was painfully tight every day. I was desperate and gave this product a shot and now am in love. It is very strong and digs deep for hard knots. A few days on this thing does wonders. I highly recommend.

Very soothing. The massager really does it's job. I use it on my lower back, middle, upper and neck area and it feels great after. You can turn the heat on and off. Being cordless and rechargeable makes it very convenient to use anywhere.

I got this on a Deal of the Day. I was not in the market for such an item. But when I saw it, it seemed like a good item to have. So I took a chance. I am so glad I did! The motors are sturdy, taking a reasonable amount of weight when I recline on it to massage my neck and upper back. The balls that rotate do a very good job, and there is a heated option, where the balls glow red and give a bit of extra love to the massage. This is a rechargeable battery massager, which can also be left plugged in when in use. I recommend this item. I also highly recommend signing up for the Deals of the Day emails. You never know what might spark a good purchase!

Grind is strong. Perfect for a bad back. I start each day with a massage. Helps a lot.

The massager feels so good on my neck but it made me a little sore the next day. It stays on a long time after becoming charged. The heat felt wonderful.

I love this thing! I have chronic neck and shoulder pain. This thing digs deep and attacks it. It is more powerful than you would expect, I was was certainly surprised.

It feels great on my neck and back. It helps me relax at work. Some people may think it is too rough. I take it to work and the 15 minute timer works well, since many times I most see coworkers. Its not too loud.

This massage pillow is great! I use a cane to walk (due to some disc issues in my lower back) and the cane can cause lots of knots and pain in my shoulder and neck. This pillow does a great job of loosening up the tension built up in my neck and shoulders. It would be a 5 start review if it was easier to use on the lower back as it is on the neck, and the heated feature worked better. You must sit up and try to lean back onto the pillow for the mid-lower back, Otherwise it is just painful when trying to use. The heated feature does work to a certain extent when it is freshly charged, but most of the time the you get the same amount of heat with the friction of use as you do with the heated feature turned on. All in all, I would recommend it to anyone looking to relieve tension in neck, shoulders and/or back.

My fiancé is in love with this. She uses it every night and has even taken it with her places. I used it once and she almost didn’t get it back. It feels really good. Not as big as I thought it would be, but the massage makes up for the size.
