Today I updated the software to version 1.5 (as Homedics recommended) and now it doesn't work at all. It gets stuck on the installation screen where it says "update firmware" and nothing happens after that. This happens on both my iPhone and iPad. I can't imagine software being released in such a state. I'm three days past the return time and don't know what to do with this.

Didnt connect to phone or WiFi even with 2.4Ghz. Tried Drift and Drift 11 app with updates. Dont buy this. I returned it to Best Buy same day. Homedics is a good brand. Too bad this product doesnt work because the styling design is great.

I have geek squad protection but still need to take the unit in for inspection. I had read other reviews with the same issues i've experienced so should have known better. May change my review once I take it in to Best Buy for warranty protection.

I downloaded the app (you want the DRIFT 11 one) and setting that up took a few minutes but ultimately I got it to work on my iPhone. The lights really add ambiance to the room, the themes like MidCentury seem the most calming. Watching the designs in action is just so cool. Such a unique techy toy for the adults and the kids are fascinated too.
