So far so good. This unit is making a good job during these unusual hot days in Washington State.

Good so far. First day was the best!

The second day we turned it on there was a big compressor sound and a bang. The unit went on afterwards but didnt seem to cool as well going forward from that first day.

Bad unit

Plugged it in down loaded the app and stared using the unit. No cold air would come out even in the lowest temp possible. I purchased two and had the same issue with both.

Not happy - Have to drain it 2 or 3 times a day

We've checked to make sure the exhaust hose is angled properly and taken all the other steps recommended by the manufacturer, but the problem persists. We've had other portable air conditioners that work MUCH better, blow much colder, and which we almost never have to drain.

Room environment conditions such as ceiling height, sunlight, number of windows/ doors and level of insulation can affect cooling efficiency and there are ways to increase the capacity of these units. There could be other reasons for the unit to not cool- temperature setting could be too high, or the exhaust hose may need re-installation to avoid the heat from coming back into the room.
These units work on self evaporation and do not need to be drained unless operating in very humid conditions. You may need to check the environment conditions of the area you are operating the unit in, in order to ascertain why it needed to be drained often. Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In June 2021 I bought a new 10,000 BTU Honeywell AC. It worked great for our 3 month hot season. When I hooked it up again in June 2022 it did not cool. Fan only. Honeywell sent me a new unit at no charge but no 1 year warranty on the replacement unit. Same story. Worked great for the 3 month season of 2022. Hooked it up in May 2023 and does not work. Fan only. No cool air and no warranty. It appears to me that after 2 units with only a 1 season of 3 months for each that that is not what to buy this year.
