Salesman researched and it said it opens to 52 inches. Product actually only goes to 37 inches so I had to spend $50to get another window kit

Absolute piece of junk

We have a small bedroom our old window air conditioner that was only 8,000 cooled the bedroom but it got old and we decided to replace it with this well it was the biggest mistake. We gave it 4 days and we had it installed professionally so no gaps or anything and it would not cool the room i even had to turn on the ceiling fan and i was still perspiring. The plastic water hose drainer is not even a foot long so i decided to again give it a chance and i placed the hole in a bucket but no water would come out and I could hear the water in the unit when you moved it. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this unit, i suggest you take my advice as well as the advice of the other review that gave the unit the same rating and stay away from it. Now we have to go through the trouble of getting it down 3 flights and into the car to take it back to the store and never mind trying to place it back in the box, no going to happen it is one of those boxes were the top comes of and the bottom comes off there is no way to take it back in the box.

Purchased this as an upgrade for my mothers apartment since it had a dehumidifier. Had purchased a Honeywell last year that was half the cost, rated for a smaller room and didn’t have a dehumidifier. We thought she could benefit from a dehumidifier with her asthma and the humidity. This machine did not cool, made the apartment more humid and was much louder. We returned it and her old, cheaper one is back in place.

We were in desperate need of an air conditioner and this was the only one available that wasn’t a week wait, so I bought it despite the bad reviews. I should have listened. The air that it did blow wasn’t that cold. It would run for an hour and say it would need to be drained, I was continuously draining the thing to keep it running. It also leaked all over my carpet and left a brown satin underneath. I returned it after 2 weeks.

After struggling with too short window noodle and putting it up on a crate it worked :) cool refreshing air. BUTT then came the feckin Niagara Falls leaking out the bottom within the first hour. 10/10 would recommend if you want a nice swimming hole in your bedroom.
