I wasn't expecting anything this tall or powerful. This is a powerhouse. It isn't quiet. It moves a lot of air. I never managed to fill it because I just don't own a jug that's big enough without making 10 trips. The water reservoir is massive but I only had to "fill" it once a day. I only got this because they were out of the compact style I like. I don't regret it and there's only one thing I don't like. You can't take the water bucket off and clean it at the end of the year. That's the ONLY reason I dropped a star. I'm afraid that might limit the already limited longevity of these portable coolers. But you really can't beat the price for what you get, even if it isn't very fancy or expensive looking, especially considering how high air conditioning costs can be. We put this in the hall because it is powerful, huge, and it is pretty noisy ...but not engine type noise, it's just a powerful air movement noise, which is great to sleep by.

This Air Cooler works well where I am located (Northern East Coast); originally, I was concerned as the Humidity is exceedingly high in my state. I primarily use this unit in my Bedroom and this Air Cooler unit does cool the room significantly compared to the rest of the house with the Central Air running. For some reason, my bedroom does not cool down with the Central Air. This unit vents cooler air and circulates throughout the room. I am extremely happy with this unit!

We purchased this cooler from Best Buy and set it up according to instructions. After two hours of operation we noticed that it had leaked onto the floor where it was setting and soaked and nearby carpet. We saw after BestBuy refunded our money that there was already a bad review due to the leaking on BestBuy's website. We added our review to BestBuy listing. Now when we come back a month later we see that BestBuy has removed both of the bad ratings and left only a five star review. Black marks fro both BestBuy for hiding the poor product and Honeywell for designing a bad product.
