When the dehumidifier is switched on, a fan pulls moisture-laden air into the dehumidifier where it passes through dehumidifying coils inside the unit. These coils condense moisture from the air and collect it in the water tank. The air is then exhausted from the dehumidifier as dry, warm air. Honeywell Hits a Home Run!!!

I see no need, whatsoever, for a WiFi connection for controls. Set it and forget it! Our old Frigidaire dehumidifier lasted 14 years. Hoping the new Honeywell unit matches or exceeds this longevity. So far, this dehumidifier is exceeding expectations for performance.

Excellent dehumidifier!

I had some trouble with mold in my basement so after getting it dealt with I got one of these for that area. I can’t believe how much water collects in a week. I use it to water my plants!

The first one was damaged in transit and Best Buy got the replacement sent right away. We have it set up to drain automatically and it runs quietly and effortlessly, keeping the surroundings as should be. Would definitely recommend!

After I installed it 3 week ago it has functioned as was advertised. Moisture control has gotten a lot better. This unit was worth the money. I would buy another if this one wares out.

Placed it up high so it could drain into a 5 gallon bucket. It fills it every day. I've been watering my plants with it.

That one stopped working with an E3 error code which I believe means that the refrigerant needed to be replaced. According to the manual, there is supposed to be a 5-year warranty on this part but I did not have the original receipt. Other than that the dehumidifier has worked well. I only gave it 4 stars until I see how long this unit lasts.

It worked great for about a year and a half. At that point we did have a few problems with it freezing. It continued to get worse until we had to return it.

Only negative is could have used a better drain hose. But you can get a better one cheap from your local hardware store.
