Right out of the box all i had to do was install 2 clips to hold the power cord on the back side and remove a collection hose that’s no used on this model

Large Dehumidifier Cut Humidity 50% < Week

Not loud (though not really quiet - none of these dehumidifiers are quiet). I use a drain hose. Note, the built in water container/collector is relatively small.

The compressor will shut off once the relative humidity is 5% lower than your desired setting. The fan will continue to run for up to 3 minutes to cool the motor and will then shut off. Smaller unit than we've used in the past and works very well in the East Coast Humidity Bowl known as June, July and August. The smaller water container works great - so much easier to remove and replace after emptying. I definitely recommend.

The two speed fan is only one speed. The button to press to make the lights not so bright does not work. For the price of this product compared to other products I do not recommend.

Need to buy a new one. A little over a year old.

The compressor isn't taking out humidity any more. I was emptying it 2 times when humid. Now there is no water at all.
