This unit is fairly quiet and keeps our room so cold we have to turn it off at times. I bought this unit for our room because in the desert temps can reach approx 95-115 degrees farenheit, so it stays hot all night and we have to run the Ac mostly all day and night. Our electric bill usually runs approx $325-370 mo. So far with only running the Ac approx 7 hours during the day and off at night( just using the Portable in our room at night) we see a savings of roughly $60+. I would highly recommend. *(look let me put a disclaimer in here just in-case lol keep in mind results may vary)

One big plus is that the vents point/adjust better than most other AC models.

People please realize this is the same as a window ac unit. It is small, depends on how old your house is and the region you live in depending on how this ac will perform. My place was built in 1984 insulated but bad. This unit works because in my region it's more heat than humidity. Great unit that you can move around

Even at the highest speed setting, the units in this series produce between 49 to 52 decibels. That’s about the sound level of an average conversation between two people in a quiet room!

It runs quietly and does a great job of cooling our rather large upstairs, we have no windows big enough to fit a unit capable of cooling the area.
