The window kit worked as described. I needed some foam weatherstripping to get a good seal between the window frame and the window kit but that was not an issue. Cools very well.

Good unit, happy to not be cooking in the house

The attachment going out the window was too short so it kept turning it into a direction away from where we wanted it. Had to dump the condensation reservoir out a couple times daily.

Horrible Portable AC

Looked up the code, did the recommended steps to resolve the problem and nothing. The remote stopped working after 3 months.

It works fairly well with the state it’s in. Pretty sure I would give it five stars I think, if the hose didn’t come damaged.

Room environment conditions such as ceiling height, sunlight, number of windows/ doors and level of insulation can affect cooling efficiency and there are ways to increase the capacity of these units. There could be other reasons for the unit to not cool- temperature setting could be too high, or the exhaust hose may need re-installation to avoid the heat from coming back into the room.
