Very disappointed because this unit was advertised as being energy efficient and now I have to begin the search process again. Called Honeywell's customer service and after confirming I was using it in a recommended room size and followed the set-up instructions completely, they recommended returning it to the retailer.

Came out of the box defective

Hopefully this is just a fluke and the replacement will be better

Last summer I bought a bigger unit for the main part of the house. It worked so well that I bought a smaller unit for my bedroom. I haven’t used this unit yet!

This is extremely loud. It cools if you are within a five foot radius. Installation was straightforward and easy. I do not recommend unless you have no other choices.
