I usually run it in the bed room on low speed which doesn’t bother me sleeping, but to run it in the third speed which is the allergen speed is loud. I also thought the timer would shut it off and restart after two, four hours but it does not, it only shuts it off. Replacing the filters will be costly.

Posted .Thank you for reaching out to us. Please note, the timer function is designed to power the unit off after selecting the desired amount of time. This timer function will not power the unit back on. Also, the settings are based on the fan speed. If using a higher setting, the fan speed will increase, which does result in the unit making more noise. However, we would not expect the unit to be loud. We'd like to look further into this.
