Not sure how the motion sensing works, but I love it. I live in the basement and it gets really cold. I have an older Lasko heater that I still like, but I wanted a remote for the one in my bedroom so I didnt have to get up and wake my animals to keep us all warm. Heats up fast, and the tipping sensor works super well.

It heats well and is compact. I especially like the remote control and that it swivels. Very nice to have for a quick warm up.

Served its purpose! Works even better when I have it just in my room, heats it up really quick. Takes a while to heat up bigger spaces (living room/hallway) but that is expected. Still works great, would buy again would recommend.

i would recommend this for anyone that has a small room or even an apartment. I like that it has a motion sensor so that when my cats get to close to it, it shuts off till they move away from it. Same would go for anything, if you have kids it is not hot to the touch at all and everything is concealed inside the unit. Best buy for sure! Lower heating costs too and takes very little to run as well.

I wanted an easily portable heat source for the office and the garage. After reading reviews, I decided on this model of Honeywell with the forced air rather than radiant heating which takes longer to produce heat and pin points the heat to a smaller area.
Situated 2-3 feet away from me, the Honeywell produces noticeable heat, even in the garage, but it is not powerful enough to warm up a room. Also, it concentrates the heat on my shins. While sitting or standing, I can't aim the heat flow at my feet.
Although I don't use the timed shut-off nor the side-to-side features, they do work. A nice feature is the selectable auto shut-off if the unit is tipped.
When powered on, the heater gradually draws up to 13.8A, then settles back down to 12.8A. I run it on "Hi" speed in the office. Because it is on a 15A circuit in the garage, I run it in "Lo" speed which draws 7.8A (note: pay attention if you use power tools or a ham radio - you'll blow the fuse running the heater on "Hi" on the same circuit).
I find the heater useful and can recommend it in accordance with my observations.

Heats quickly, quiet, easy controls. This is the second one I bought. First one is a year old and still going strong!

I bought this for my wife because I am cheap and this thing has been amazing. We have high ceilings in our home and this thing works awesome keeping it warm. We keep our home at 64 and when we are running this downstairs our temperature runs around 67-68 within a couple of hours. Some of the features I like with the product is the ability to warm the home quickly and the product is very quite.

This works very well. Great heat all over. Turns off if ur too close to it. The best part is to be able to off and on and adjust temp from far away. Tells room temp as well.

Overall the device performed as expected. The low setting will be enough for any standard american room and in some cases would be able to heat a 650 sq ft apartment. The high setting is very nice to have if you need to warm up the room quickly. It will get way too hot if left on if you are warming a single room. If you are warming an apartment or your downstairs you will likely keep the high setting for consistent heat. My temperature in ND hit a low of -45 and this bad boy had my living room at 65 degrees Fahrenheit when my heater broke. Well worth the cost.
