Barely cools, leaks excessively

Barely makes a difference! I decided to move it to a different room because of this. Before doing so, I emptied the pan; as another commenter mentioned, you need to prop it up as the design is poor and makes it difficult to empty. Either way, I unscrewed the cap and let it drain twice before moving it. This apparently was not enough, because after screwing the cap shut it proceeded to leak all over the floor when I began to wheel it away! I can’t recommend this, and it’s so heavy I can’t get it down our apartment stairs to return it. For anyone else looking: this doesn’t seem to be a genuine Honeywell, but some other brand, despite being labelled Honeywell. Can’t recommend!

An A/C you must babysit. Not great.

We live in a high humidity area and sometimes the pan needs to be emptied every 90 minutes-- or it overlows and shuts off. Obviously, we cannot babysit an air conditioner (like, we have other jobs) so this is not working out for us.

The product was delivered in very poor condition. The box was damaged, opened and set upside down in the rain. I immediately requested a refund to have it shipped back. Unfortunately I had to lug it to a UPS store. Given the package's condition they were reluctant to accept it.

However I will say that if your budget allows for it, go with the black unit with the same specs. The black one seems just a bit better!
