Another bad pump.

I to got a unit with a bad pump. Best Buy is sending another, we’ll see how number two goes. If number two’s pump is doa I will contact Honeywell to see if they will do something about the pump. If not, I will have BB keep replacing it till I get one that works.

Pump did not work

The pump did not work on this one either! I am definitely not getting a third. I would not recommend this product.

You are using the original Honeywell Auto Drain Pump Tube and not an alternative. 3. The Auto Drain Pump Cap is securely on the Direct Drain outlet. 4. The Auto Drain Tube is not blocked or bent. 5. The filter screen on the pump is not clogged with dirt or is obstructed. 6. The Auto Drain Pump Cap has a washer at it’s center.

E5 Errors every time the tank gets full.

I can only assume the pump in the unit is defective, as even placing the unit on my basement bar did not help it drain the water any better. I have emailed the customer support Email for Honeywell as they have requested in other reviews and I am currently waiting for a reply. While the unit draws A LOT of humidity, I bought this expensive product specifically for the pump function. If I do not hear back from their customer service department within a week I will return the unit to Best Buy and try again.

When you get the E5 error, you may need to check the following: 1. ) The Direct Drain Cap is removed, and the Auto Drain Pump Cap and the Auto Drain Pump Tube is installed properly. If drain plug is installed, there is nowhere for water to drain out, and E5 Error code will display. 2.) You are using the original Honeywell Auto Drain Pump Tube and not an alternative. The Honeywell Auto Drain Pump Tube that comes with the product is engineered for the pump model to allow consistent water flow up to 5m. The diameter, lengths are determined scientifically –The error code may occur when water is not dispensing properly. 3. ) The Auto Drain Pump Cap is secure on the Direct Drain outlet. 4.) The Auto Drain Tube is not blocked or bent. 5.) The filter screen on the pump is not clogged with dirt or is obstructed. 6.) The Auto Drain Pump Cap has a washer at it’s center.
