Bad filter housing design

After 48 hr usage, refilling the filter was dried out and completely hard. The filter only wet on the bottom where the water sets in the filter holding slot. You’re going to have to continue to flip the filter in order for it to become completely wet - to get some semblance of cool humidity. Don’t waste your money and definitely your time.

Sometimes, in a very dry environment, the water will evaporate from the filter faster than it can be wicked up from the base. In this instance, you would have to wet the filter under the tap periodically until the humidity in the room is raised enough for the humidifier to work normally.
