Works good in my opinion. It did exactly as it said it would do. Pros: Doesnt take as much electrical power as an air conditioner does which saves us power. Cools our 800 sqft living room decently. Fan is powerful. The cool air is refreshing. You can add ice into multiple spots. Cons: Has a wet smell, but goes away after use, does come back after its been turned off then on again for a couple minutes. Taking the top off to refill the water in the bottom is a hassle (taking a star off). It should be easier, turning the latch into a handle and have a thumb pad on the bottom portion so you can push off with your thumb to seperate the top and bottom would be a lot more convient. Price on unit is so close to a air conditioner (another point off) that it makes it seem like it would be easier to get an actually AC unit. Overall: Good small rooms and hot days. Does what it is supposed to. A lot more work overall due to refilling the water, but you can move it anywhere in the house easier than with an AC unit.

Does what it says. More like a cold fan than what most people expect it to do, which is understandable. It's not an air conditioner, but since I understood that I like what it does. 2 things I didn't like about this, first it makes the room humid so you must have whatever room you have ventilated as open doors or windows and even then it may still become humid. Second is the smell. When you turn it on for fan mode or even first use of cool more, smells like wet dog. Kind of like you have the AC on in your vehicle then turn off AC mode, but keep air blowing it will smell distinct.

I am very happy with this purchase. It arrived in a timely manner and packs a power punch. It actually gets very very cold in the cool mode. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is due to the loudness. But you get use to it.

Overall, it works fine. It does not cool down the room much, only feel better within its direct blowing area. A little bit noisy. I use it when eating. Great fan. Keep in mind that this is not AC.

I like this because my room is always hot and this was the best thing I have bought for my room.

Works good, wish I had bought a bigger model with more cooling power

Machine is noisy and it requires constantly fillings of water. Had I known these intangibles,I wouldn't of purchase it. It barely cools above a regular blade fan, therefore I am giving it a thumbs down.

We purchased it to cool our garage man cave. It has been amazing. Would recommend it to anyone for a backup or just additional cooling device

Says its for close proximity to an open window, but I used it to cool an enclosed room for my business and it works great! Very easy to use and keep cool with in the summertime!

it only seemed to increase the humidity in the room, but did not feel cooler.

We couldn't afford running a/c in the garage this year after turning it into a man cave. We took a chance and let me tell u it was worth it.

I had to return because I had no way to vent the heat coming out it never really worked to its but if used correctly.... Yes it works.
