The thermostat works as does the app to control it when away from home. Buttons are discolored.

So easy to install, worked right away. One small issues but, I really need to connect the WiFi then it will be perfect.

Buying and installing this thermostat was my first stop in creating a "smart home." I was initially apprehensive about installing it myself because I've never done anything like this before. The installation instructions were very clear and concise. It was a bit surprising how easy it was to install the thermostat. I think it took maybe an entire 20 to 30 minutes to install it. So far, I don't have any complaints about using this thermostat, especially with the app. It's so convenient to control my thermostat from an app on my phone instead of having to walk all the way downstairs/

It's nice to have control from anywhere as my schedule tends to change so I can also change the programs when I want to. Great product for good price.

Purchased this thermostat to help control when and how long a horrid heat-pump operates. The electric bill has been extremely high for three months considering the mild winter. I have already seen a significant reduction in the amount of power consumed and a nice drop in the power bill amount (saved about half of the cost in one month of operation). This has been an awesome produce and glad I purchased. Looking forward to additional savings when the air conditioning kicks in.

Wanted something easy to set up and use. I am a snowbird but like to keep track of my temp. in my condo when I am away. It was easy to set up and monitoring is a snap.

After 1 year of use this.. It work great in my home.. Love this mode bc it easy to use..

I though this would be simple, since it's replacing the same model Honeywell non-wifi thermostat. My system is 2-stage cooling and heating with a variable speed blower, but the wiring scheme was still missing one wire. Honeywell phone support was prompt, but knew no more than I did. It's functioning fine for the AC at both stages, but only time (and cooler temperatures) will tell if it also plays well with the 2-stage furnace. Fingers crossed! This may be the reason that there are literally hundreds of these available as store returns on Ebay. In terms of the wifi, no problem, but the juries still out on the smart features. It'll jump into 2 stage at 9pm to drop the house to the 10pm temp (74 to 70 degrees) even when it shows it's only 72 outdoor temperature. I believe I can override that feature which will help with comfort in the evening, or see how it reacts if we change the time. Bottom line: if it works with the furnace, I'm fine, because the remote wifi monitoring is the main reason for the install, and that works without a glitch! I'm recommending, but with concerns.
