I installed Honeywell - 7-Day Programmable Thermostat and downloaded the app to my phone and it works great. It has so many features that I still have not used but is very easy to use!

We upgraded our old thermostat to this new one and absolutely love it. I use to app to lower the temperature on my way home that way my house is cool when I enter

Great thermostat, easy to install and easy to use directly or from a distance via Wi-Fi. Good price.

The only reason for not giving it a 5 star is the set up process I had problems with. Had to get help from mfg to complete. Instructions could be more specific as to set it up. Otherwise this is a great comfort control for the home. My son was able to watch and control any issues there might be while we were out on vacation. We did not have wi-fi capability where we were so this was perfect for us to have this thermostat installed!

For frequent travelers this is a must. I lower my heating and cooling when I leave on trips. Before I return, I use the app on my phone to set the desired temp and I'm comfortable when I arrive back home.

Bought this to replace an older model (non-WiFi) Honeywell thermostat. Only difference was I had to connect the “C” wire which wasn’t used on the older unit. The wire (blue) was tucked away but accessible. Connecting this unit to WiFi was fairly simple. Just connect the WiFi on your phone to the thermostat option then open a web browser and login to your home WiFi network. Wait for it to connect then register your thermostat with the provided device MAC ID and CRC (on card in box). Then download the app and you’re good to go.

I have a friend that bought this before I bought my own, because he said it would pay for itself. He was right. The scheduling feature is a must to use, but the fact that I can view and change the temperature anytime from anywhere is great. This makes you more aware of how much your A/C and Heating unit is running, and that alone will save you money. The fact that the app is free and this runs on wi-fi is a perk! I hooked mine up to my heat-pump in an hour. Because I am cautious it took longer, since I went to the website to make sure I knew where all the wires went. Highly recommend if you just want simple WIFI capability. Very easy to install with clear instructions. Got it installed in less than half an hour.

Purchased this thermostat to help control when and how long a horrid heat-pump operates. The electric bill has been extremely high for three months considering the mild winter. I have already seen a significant reduction in the amount of power consumed and a nice drop in the power bill amount (saved about half of the cost in one month of operation). This has been an awesome produce and glad I purchased. Looking forward to additional savings when the air conditioning kicks in.

Works great, easy to install. I love having an app where I can adjust the heater or AC remotely.

This unit easily installed and connected to wi-fi. I love that I am able to control my house temp with my phone and save on heating/cooling costs.

Bought this thermostat to replace the one we had in our home. Although there are many fancy ones out there, we were just looking for one similar to what we had. Our previous one was also Honeywell but it was all touchscreen and to be honest, it really wasn’t that great. This one however, doesn’t have the touchscreen which was a plus, but it has WiFi which is an awesome feature. I can change the temperature of the room from sitting in the couch to as far as not even being in the house. I love this new thermostat. It works great and the price was nice too.

Don't need the overpriced competitors. This thermostat does the same. I bought this for my shore house so I can adjust the temp before I go or it there's a cold spell. Worth it

This is definitely not the most advanced "smart thermostat" but it does what you want it to do and does it well. It allows you to control/set your thermostat from anywhere with your phone. It also allows you to set up schedules, check the local weather around your home, and check the room temperature where the thermostat is. It works great and was significantly cheaper than the other fancier thermostats. Before you buy one of those ask yourself if you really need the few extra features those offer. The one thing I will warn you about with this (or any thermostat replacement) is that the wiring may be a little complicated. We had to call Honeywell to get clarification on which wires go where on the new thermostat, but Honeywell was there on a weekend to take the call and was able to provide the info we needed to get it installed and working.

Had issues with operating Nest thermostat so went simpler. User friendly. App easy to use. Had Geek Squad agent assist with install.

This is a good wifi thermostat. It was easy to install and use. I have a 2 story house so it makes it easier to control my AC Units. Very user friendly.

This was easy to install (a DIY job) and super easy to program. You have to follow the instructions in the booklet to set up the app account. But once set up, it's easy to navigate and adjust. It served my needs well. It's not as fancy as other products, and this model only lets me program all 7 days the same (not adjusting differently for weekends).
