This is a nice upgraded thermostat if you want to have wifi control, ability to schedule use and most importantly have the ability to place sensor to prioritize certain room(s) to trigger heating or cooling. Very straightforward setup and programming. I would definitely recommend.

Bought the T9 with sensor and installed myself. It was an easy install and connected to the WiFi immediately. Works like a charm and is readable from a distance. My wife loves that it shows the outside temp as well.

Overall, this thermostat works very well. Easy setup with one big exception. It is wi-fi capable, but only works on the 2.4Ghz band. If you have a dual band mesh router system with only 1 SSID for both bands, this device will not connect. This also means, you cannot use the Honeywell app for remote control from a smart device. All settings must be made from the thermostat itself. Not all that big of a deal, in my opinion, because once you have everything setup the way you want it, there is no need to make any more adjustments. I have added an additional room sensor (it comes with one). Adding a sensor is very easy, and the system works well with them.

Great product that has been incredibly convenient and has paid for itself already on the power bill. The schedules are very intuitive.

I like that I can see the temperature on different floors and adjust the temp for where I am in the house. Very easy to install. Set up took a little research for my type of hvac but I had it set up and working great in a few hours. Easy to use app too.

Easy to use and install. Added additional sensors and didn’t have any issues connecting. The app is easy to use. The only issue I’m having is finding out how to change my email address connected to the account.

Easy to use and hook up. Tells you the weather outside and let’s you set up on your phone to use while you are out. Helps with making sure it’s cool enough for the dogs when I am at work.

This was bought to replace an older Honeywell. The wires that hooked up to the terminals in the old thermostat were easily hooked up to the T9 since the corresponding terminals were present. The only thing I couldn't figure out was how to lock the thermostat so that guests can't tinker with it, so I will take one star off the review. Other than that, the touchscreen interface was intuitive and the included room sensor conveniently allowed me to place it in different rooms depending on the season to cater to the room that needs more heat.

Nice thermostat. It was easy for me to install, and I'm no electrician. I bought a couple of extra sensors so I could monitor temps in three different bedrooms. Seems to work well, and I like that I can change the settings from my phone if I'm too hot or cold at night. The thermostat is supposed to display outdoor temps by accessing the internet, but my unit only does that sometimes. I'm not sure where it gets the temperature information, but either the connection of the source is bit unreliable, it seems. Not a big deal. Still a solid product if you can get it for a good price.

A bit of a challenge to install - no directions how to install with no C connection on furnace, thanks to YouTube for having an option. Once installed, it does what it suggests, however I was expecting more bells and whistles, at minimum a way to dim or shut off panel light - I didn't want a hallway nightlight! So far with programming it hasn't come on at all yet (SoCal winter averaging 65'ish), I did test it after install to make sure it worked but may have to test again to verify! App works fine. I have not installed the thermostat on wall yet, maybe it'd be better putting it in the wall and just use app! Haven't had long enough to know how well the sensor is helping balance temp, won't know more until summer when temps will be up/down 30+/-.

This was easy to install, setup, and use. Download the app, connect the thermostat to you WiFi and its off and running. Easily programmable and simple to use. Highly recommend.

We (my spouse and I) primarily wanted a thermostat with WIFI capability so we could check its status remotely. The T9 accomplishes this and brings other features: A Smart (room) Sensor (included), Geofencing (Home/Away settings) for examples. Also was easy to install as we had a "C" wire (a wiring interface is included if you don't already have a "C" wire). Easily went online with our home WIFI (we have Xfinity Xfi). We have it set up to receive alerts when we each venture beyond the Geofence (user configurable), and back. And the all-white appearance looks really nice on the wall. Useful, functional and smarter than a basic thermostat.

Upgraded from a T5. I haven't tried geofencing on the T9. And I only use the remote sensor for monitoring the temperature in the basement. I love the simplicity and function of the Honeywell thermostats. The only complaint I have is that the backlight on the thermostat is always on. But, that's personal preference. I know some people really like that feature. Installed on a 9 year old Lennox AC / natural gas furnace. Install is super easy, especially if you have a C wire (constant power).

I rent a duplex unit, and the unit already had a T1 Pro installed. After some research, I concluded that this was a great way to upgrade to a smart thermostat without changing any wiring. Got home. Turned off the HVAC, pulled the old thermostat off the existing base, placed the new one on that same base, which already had a C wire hooked up, and was immediately greeted by the setup screens. Total time for physical installation less than 10 seconds. The setup screens went smoothly, the only complaint was trying to type my rather long wifi password with that tiny keyboard.

Easy to install and works great. Really simple to use display and application for smartphone allows me to make adjustments at anytime.

This thermostat has taken the guesswork out of what temperature the house it at. It couples with a phone app and an included smart room sensor (1) where you can monitor/change (with alerts) temperature and humidity in two rooms in your house, 24/7. Instructions are simple and easy to follow, there is also info on the web site with video tutorials and a toll free #. The wiring is straightforward for most modern systems. The display is simple, sleek and has varying settings for dark mode, night light, etc. Recommend!

This unit works great and it has lowered our energy consumption. So much easier to keep a perfect temperature in the different rooms

I definitely recommend this thermostat to anyone that feels a temperature difference in different rooms of their house. The extra receiver allows me to balance the temperature in between the main living spaces. Conveniently controlled by my phone or just by talking to Alexa.

I had a Honeywell thermostat and replaced them with this. Is easily snap onto my existing Honeywell bracket. Took seconds to set up and works great.
