I bought this as a way to auto switch between heat and cool in the crazy midwest weather, where it can be in the mid to high 80's during the day and dip to below freezing that night. Too many times I have forgotten to switch to heat and awoke seeing my breath, or forgot to switch to cool and came home to a sauna. This unit is easy to program with temperature ranges, easy to read even from across the room, and easy to program using the phone app. Loses one star for the Amazon Alexa add on being rather finicky.

This thing is awesome. First smart thermostat I’ve ever used and it’s been great. I like the easy of install and use of the app. I’d definitely get again for a new home and or recommend to anyone.

I think this is a good alternative to a zoning ac system. it has a geofence and scheduling ability. Has helped us save money on our heating and cooling by being able to change it in the app

I bought the Honeywell T9 to replace an older model. The new T9 was very easy to install, did it myself. The only confusion during install was determining if I had a heat pump or conventional ac. I have a heat pump, and the O/B white wire needed to be switched to cool inside the thermostat settings. Easy. Advice, check your old thermostats settings prior to disconnecting to find out what kind of unit you have and copy over the settings to the new thermostat ;)

an excellent smart home solution. Replaced a failing older Honeywell smart thermostat- five years old and wifi was disconnecting too often. Worked immediately, easy to connect to wifi and works well with app. Can connect to Xcel for energy discounts, but this does allow some remote control in the setting of an energy crisis.

Wanted to upgrade from my old honeywell thermostat to this smart one. Not disappointed at all. Very easy to install, connect and set up. The humidity is not correct on the main unit but it does have a setting you can adjust it. Do not like the fact that the remote unit does not have the same adjustments but it is what it is.

Easy to install. The room sensor makes it easy to control the temperature for the area you use most.

Purchased this one when the old Honeywell died. The T-9 allows you add extra room sensors which is helpful to regulate the temp in a room that's too hot or too cold. You can program based on averages of all the senors or just based on one sensor. Our main unit gets afternoon sunshine in the afternoon so having the extra room sensor prevents the AC from kicking on (thinks it's 80 degrees even though it's only 74 in the house).

We like that it keeps a constant temperature. The remote accessibility is good.

Finally! A smart thermostat that works with Apple Homekit ( I never liked the look and function of the Ecobee). I love that the remote temp sensors double as occupancy and motion sensors for Homekit. My wife (who doesn’t like high tech complexity) likes how simple the main user interface is to use.

Love this kit. It comes with everything you need if you don’t have all the wiring to install. The second thermostat is a game changer. I can let the system use our Master Bedroom temp to control it all. Since we are on two floors if I let the system at 70 downstairs its usually 73 upstairs, with this I can make sure it comfy for sleeping by using the sensors temp. Pretty awesome

This is the second T9 thermostat that we have purchased.. We have zoned heating and like the ease of setting different temps in each of the zones. There is also an excellent you tube video that shows how to set up and program this thermostat. The room sensor is a unique feature that allows the temp in a different room to be the same in the room where the thermostat is installed.

Love this thermostat! I bought this for the app capabilities. You can set the minimum and maximum temperatures and it will automatically keep the house at that temp. I have one bedroom that gets hotter in the summer and colder in the winter than the rest of the house. With the addition of the sensors I am able to keep that room in a comfortable range as well.

Easy setup as long as you don’t have that pesky extra wire. Have purchased two and Used in two homes. First one was super easy setup and gives me ability to manage heat remotely for my mom. Second home required that extra wire which made things a bit more difficult - the included adapter didn’t work and it meant running new wire. No fault of the unit itself.

Big upgrade for any older thermostat. Easy to read and control from your phone. I paired 5 of these and can monitor temperature at any time.
