Feel better about breathing cleaner air in your ho

Obviously in a pandemic the thought of having cleaner household air seems like a no brainer. Add to that 4 cats, a collie and living in the south where it seems there are allergens all year long floating around I realized our household needed something to help keep the air a bit cleaner. After a week of use I noticed less dust, less sneezing, and less coughing. I like the variety of settings, particularly the VOC setting, This samples the air quality and adjusts accordingly. It's barely noticeable on the lowest setting and even on high it's not that loud. Bluetooth connectivity and functionality is very easy to set up and use.

I had just moved into a new place and after movers brought in items from storage I had trouble breathing in my home. A few days later allergies got worse with bad migraines. Within 3 hours of plugging in the purifier my breathing was no longer labored. It's also easy to maintain. Great product!!!

I've been using this item for a few months now and I'm quite pleased with it. The sound doesn't bother me at all and the Bluetooth feature is an added convenience that makes changing the speeds from your smartphone a breeze. Pros: *Covers up to 250 sq ft (maybe more cant remember) *Bluetooth compatible making it easy to change speeds without having to get up. *The smartphone app works great and even allows you to purchase new filters directly from the app and have them shipped to you. Cons: *A little pricey but worth it.

You can tell the difference in the air quality after the first night. If you're familiar with stuffy or clogged nostrils, try this and see if there is a difference. It is a true HEPA air purifier, and it is NOT an ozone generator (a good thing). If you like to vape in your room, I highly recommend this purifier. It has reduced the odor and the boxed/cloudy room that can be a nuisance to other guests. It also purifies farts, with the VOC sensor on, it picks up my farts every single time! Hilarious yet wonderful. Change the pre-filter every 3 months and the main filter once a year. Simple enough. App works but it seems to be pretty buggy for other users. App works fine with me, IPhone 6. I call this machine Kirby. I love Kirby. I recommend Kirby. Let it purify your farts today! (Some people say they wash the pre-filter. Do not do this. Just use tape to collect the dust on top of the pre-filter(like a lint roller, which also works). I would still recommend changing it every 3 months though. It's about $8 for two)

While the first unit I purchased was DOA, I exchanged for a new unit and it works perfectly. Very quiet on the low fan settings, and only marginally louder on the higher fan settings. I love the bluetooth capability and being able to control it from anywhere in my house via my iPhone.

We purchased this after our old air purifier quit working. This unit is much quieter than the previous unit. Tried the Bluetooth feature to make sure it works but not really using that feature much.

The Honeywell HPA250B (310 Sq Ft Air Purifier with Bluetooth) is very quiet and it's specifications include a very good air throughput for a small home or medium-sized room. The fan at it's low setting is barely noticeable and even at the high/Turbo setting is quieter than I'd expected--it's rather helpful white noise and I've yet to have a significant test of an especially dusty incident or smoky condition but noticed some odor reduction of pet odor. (The unit has a charcoal pre-filter meant to reduce odor before the HEPA filter). The Honeywell App is easy to pair to the unit via Bluetooth although I think a WiFi connection would be better so an app could be used anywhere to turn the unit on/off or change settings instead of being within Bluetooth range. The air purifier needs to be re-connected in the app menu setting when I open it on my tablet (an automatic connection would be an improvement). One plus is the Bluetooth connection is instant--no lag time in pressing a button on the app and seeing the unit change modes or modify the timer setting. The control panel on top of the unit controls almost all the same features on the application (the app has one feature--a predicted allergen level that requires location service and internet access to retrieve allergen forecasts from AccuWeather). I did find a few broken page links inside the app, so maintenance on Kaz's website is not keeping it indexed very well but this does not impact the features that control and schedule operation of the unit. The purifier is heaver than I had expected--14 lbs-- which could contribute to it's quiet operation--it's not light enough to move around or rattle like cheaper fans tend to. The included HEPA filters are to last a year but the carbon pre-filter supplied is only a 3-4 month supply--I would have preferred the manufacturer include pre-filters to match the life of the HEPA filter. I would have liked to give this a 5/5, but the broken pages in the application, inclusion of only 1 pre-filter, and problems with BestBuy's fulfillment of this order is cause enough to remove a star. I do think it's the best purchase in this category, just some areas of improvement to warrant a perfect rating.

I love that the device is Bluetooth connected so when I leave the purifier shuts off and when I reach the door it's already running. I have year round allergies and my son has asthma and allergies so it helps us to breath better.

We replaced a 12 year old austin air fan with the honeywell unit. The fan is smaller, quieter and appears to clean well. There are more controls, not sure that I understand the full difference between germ and allergen other than the fan is faster. The bluetooth is nice, although you need to be close and connected before trying to function that app or it gets stuck, which means, gasp, I have to push a button! We are satisfied. The air smells clean.

I have two cats and a small apartment. Needless to say, the litter box leaves an unpleasant odor around the place. I have hardwood floors throughout and tracking has been a problem with the cat litter so I had to sweep 3 times a day, maybe more. This purifier has really helped with the odor, the dust from tracking, and pet dander. So happy to be able to breathe better!

It's a pretty large unit, and unlike some others it doesn't move/rotate, but it does a good job of filtering the air - we could tell the difference before and after during the wildfires which blanketed our area with smoke.

I've used this Honeywell air purifier for a few weeks and I works very well! I wasn't thrilled to try a model that needed the filters replaced, even every few years. Today, I feel it's worth it to have a genuine hepa quality air PURIFIER. (Some brands clear the air but do not purify.) All but the turbo setting are quiet enough to sleep with. The Bluetooth and APP work well on iPhone 7. No problems, at all. The VOC measure and timer are pluses I didn't find on comparable machines. I give this 4.5 stars out of 5.

Recently I just had a baby so I decide to get one. This one have all the right buttons, filters, and Bluetooth so you can get the apps to control it on your phone. Easy to put together ans to use. I had very bad allergies ever since I was a child and it had gone away by 90%. I use less tissue paper and knowing that my three weeks old is doing good because I always check his nose, I'm happy.

We have bought 3 of these air purifiers during the past month--2 for smaller rooms and 1 for a larger room. Smoke from the nearby fires has made it miserable and unsafe in our home as we both have respiratory conditions. These air purifiers help immensely in keeping our inside air fit to breathe. They are not a substitute for oxygen, but since we are not on oxygen they work for us. They have several settings, including a turbo setting. Setup is easy and there is no maintenance until the change filter lights up. We don't use the bluetooth, but it looks like it could be helpful to control it with your phone. We haven't been able to turn them off yet because of the outside air quality. Tip: get some extra filters so you won't be without your Honeywell Air Purifer.

I have to admit I did not know how well the Honeywell - Bluetooth-Enabled Console Air Purifier would work in my home. But after I unboxed it and turned it on for the first time I swear I didn't know what breathing fresh air was until I had this unit running. The steps to putting the filters on were easy and the instructions I found were easy to follow. The Unit has a Bluetooth capability that makes it wireless using a smartphone. Its really great how you can set timer on it and let it run on automatic -- sensing the air pollutants and adjusting speed accordingly. I am considering getting another one for the second floor of my house. It moves air just great for small to medium sized room and even a some what large room. This was a great buy!

Our whole family loves this model of the Honeywell air purifier. My husband and I own two, and noticed that our environmental allergies were less of a problem. Also on days in NJ when the air quality is poor, we are especially happy that we have this. We leave them running all the time. We also bought 2 for our grandchildren's bedrooms in NJ because they have environmental allergies, and two for my son and his family in WA because of the wildfires out there. They all love them! This air purifier gets rid of smoke efficiently. It is easy to replace the filters and tells you when to do that with a red light that comes on for the prefilter and a separate one for the HEPA filters. It runs very quietly. We don't really use the Bluetooth function but it does have that feature. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
