Easy to use and really works superb. Love that you control the unit from your phone or tablet.

It is pretty quiet and does the job pretty good. It has a strong air flow and good filter.

Honeywell makes filters that look like this model, but only this model sold at best buy gives you Bluetooth control and the VOC sensor. This sensor alone makes it worth the purchase price. Place it in your kitchen and it will turn on high while cooking automatically to help filter out any odors. Painting in small spaces? This filter will take care of those too and will also set itself back to low once the air has been cleaned.

in order to unlock more functionality of this unit you must download the app it is available in google play ,although the app has not been updated since last year so if you buy multiple units it's going to be harder for some to control multiple units with the app on lollipop,but the options that are available with the app are great including setting cleaning schedules for different days of the week and allergen alert settings for your city this feature will automatically adjust your unit according to your local allergen reports, filters are easy to change and install. would personally recommend buying the A+ prefilter especially for voc extraction,those filters are reasonabley priced the drawback is that you would have to cut them by hand but it actually gives you four prefilters enough for the whole year,I own two units that I purchased through Best Buy one located in my front room the other located in my bedroom.Pet owners units do pick up a tremendous amount of pet dander wow "I never knew what was in my air" after a week of having both an extra bonus is that they do push quite a bit of air for being placed in a medium sized rooms just to make sure that you try to place them in a central location if at all possible the Honeywell hpa250b is the best unit overal for the functionality and the price the others in the honeywell hpa 200 series group are different variants minus the Bluetooth functionality and VOC feature,if you can catch this model variant at best buy on sale its a great deal

We now have 2 of these units, older one about 2 years old isn't bluetooth enabled. Husband has COPD and breathing issues I have a compromised immune system from Multiple Myeloma treatment. The app to control the machine is good gives alerts on filters, and pollens currently in high concentrations in the area. Can also be controlled manually. These units clean the air in germ mode make a definite difference in the air quality in the house. Very easy setup, filters are easy to install, prefilter replacements need to be cut to size to fit. When we had heavy smoke from wildfires the unit cleaned the air and filters had to be changed in 6 weeks otherwise the filtration can last up to 6 months. Depending on the air quality and how frequently you are running the machine. Other plus to this purifier is the possibility it can kill viruses in the air or trap it in the filters. In the current conditions with Covid 19 this can only be a good thing.

Got this air purifier to help with the allergies around the house, including pollen and three cats. It has two good sized HEPA filters and a carbon prefilter to remove some odor and larger particles. It has 4 different modes which are essentially how fast the fan is moving. The lowest setting is fairly quite, all the rest are somewhat noisy as fans can be. We routinely use the second lowest setting in our bedroom and it is a pleasant white noise in the background. I have even had the purifier in rooms where we are watching TV or playing games, and it did not detract from our experience at all. It has made a noticeable decrease in dust floating around in the rooms where we use it regularly, and has even reduced some of the cooking smells that can move to other rooms. We have run this purifier for the majority of each day for the last month with very little down time on it. There has been no noticeable increase in noise and it performs the same now as when we took it out of the box. It is a nice looking device, not too big, and fairly light to carry from room to room as needed. It easily tucks away in a corner or side wall to do its work while we are away or sleeping. In addition to the expected controls, it has an app to control the device from your mobile phone through bluetooth. The app is fairly minimal due to the limited number of controls on the purifier, but it does include allergen alerts for your general area as a bonus.

After 2 months, this works great. My allergies seem to have been reduced and with this pandemic, it gives me a level of confidence to clean the air internally. I bought a smaller version for my headroom because of the success of this product. The smaller version has Bluetooth capabilities which I recommend and wish this larger version had it as well. However, it’s a big workhorse and definitely purifies more air per square foot. Great job Honeywell.

So far I have had the Honeywell HPA 250 Air Purifier for less than a week, and I love it. I have used it to utterly destroy the smokey smell coming from my fireplace. In less than 4 hours it completely removed the smell of smoke than usually comes from my wood burning fireplace that permeates across my living room every spring. After that I took it upstairs and slept with it on all night, when I awoke the aire in the room seemed crisper and fresh. The nest day, down to the basement to remove musty old mold & mildew odors. I left it on most of the day, and when I returned the basement had no smell at all. Simply amazing !

We love this air purifier. We had just installed new carpet throughout the house and I was concerned about VOCs so we purchased this unit for our bedroom and some less expensive units for other parts of the house. This is my favorite unit. It's great white noise when we sleep and I find it very quiet.

Excellent product. Fairly quiet and seems energy efficient. Cleans the air well and has a 2 filter system for smoke or other airborne allergens that may cause smells. Good price given the size. Two caveats. Don't put anything on the top of it as the grates on the top of it are fairly large and things can fall into it and you might not be able to get them out. Also, don't up anything like an oil or anything either in or on the grates to create a pleasant scent in the house since the grates are made of a softer plastic which will be eroded by oils, sprays, etc...

System works well for odor and dust. Noise level is not noticeable. This is a larger unit but it is still compact enough to place in several areas of a room so that is hidden. Good product.

While I don't like that you can't actually rinse these hepa filters, I've found vacuuming them regularly works really well, so I still don't think replacement will be needed nearly as often as stated. And actually, I think if you had a double set of filters, you could wash them, put in the dry set and leave the others to dry in the meantime and then switch. The pre-filter is quickly "full" or clogged, so I'd suggest buying these in bulk from some online jungle or something if you want to continue using them (they do seem to help). Interestingly, as an experiment, after using for a couple of months we unplugged the filter in the bedroom (which is a far smaller room than this is rated for, but my allergies are so severe that we felt this was a better choice than a smaller one- and the footprint really isn't that bad anyway) for a few days, and in that time we both experienced worsening of our general sinus and allergy issues. So it's doing more than I thought. And the ability to use Bluetooth to control it is just great!!

I bought this for my wife when she started school this year, because she came home sick after her first day in the class room with a sore throat and stinging eyes due to the dust and mold in the room. We left it on for a weekend and she hasn't had any more issues since.

We bought this for our grandson, who has terrible environmental allergies. At least now, while he is sleeping, he can rest without allergens in the air. It has made a big difference. Now we want to buy one for our own house!

Upgraded to this new Hunnewell Air Purifier from the 15 year old model. This new one is much quieter but manages to clean with the same force. I use it near my pellet stove to keep the dust down. Works awesome.

The air purifier has done a wonderful job in outr bedroom. The ease of operation is great. While I have not yet used the bluetooth, I think it could be a nice addition to the product. The only minor issue is it can be a litte noisy when it changes to a higher cleaning level.

We've run this about 22 hours /day for the past few weeks to deal with the smoke from CA fires. It has been great. This dual filter purifier has made a difference in our internal air. The automatic sensor is great too.. It can sense all sorts of things happening inside the house and will turn up or down based on what is inside..It has been great... The blutooth and app were not necessary for me but I like using them. It allows you to set a timer for the week.

Best Buy delivered the Honeywell Air Purifier to us promptly. It was free of any damage. We read the instructions and operated it. The air purifier is relatively quiet and there seems to be a noticeable improvement in air quality in our home. I like the features on it to include general air purifying, germ air purifying and allergen air purifying. It also has an app you can download to get more features.

I bought this product about 3 weeks ago from Best Buy works very great in my from. I put it on all day it helps my allergies especially when this trees started produced pollen that really bothers me. It's easy to set up with download the apps with my iPhone.

Unit runs very quietly and does a very good job of cleaning the air. Try it in multiple spots to ensure you get the best spot. Well worth the money as effective and does not "stick out" in the room.
