It did a great job of removing humidity from the air. The only downfall is using the app to control it remotely. The app takes a lot of memory and does not respond or allow you to set it up. They were working on that issue.

It instantly cleaned up the air from our basement. I wish the water tank was bigger. However, after the initial first couple of days it takes longer to fill up.

I onlybgave 4 stars because the link to load the app is broken but easily found in the app store if you know to look there. My basement went from 70 % down to 39% iness than 2 hours.

New Honeywell dehumidifier was running non-stop for the last 3 month quietly w/o shaking in my basement next to sump pump and was working as expected. It is quiet enough to be used for living room.

Wish We Bought This Sooner

The unit isn’t noisey at all, it has a little hum that’s all. The unit is Smart so it can be controlled by using your cell phone,etc via the app. We have the 70pt unit & it fills up in about 5 hrs in the first few days. This is the best purchase that we have made in recent years. We’ll never be without one.

I have it in the basement and keep the fan on the HVAC unit all the time and this keeps the humidity to the desired level, which I set at 45%. It took a few days to get the humidity down because of being so humid outside here in Iowa and the humidity in the house was over 60% when I started using this. I used a different host because I already had one and the one that comes with is coiled up and short. I think it would take a bit to get it to straighten out. The setup for the WiFi in the iPhone app could've been better because the app didn't list this model so I had to guess which one. Hint- it's the last one out of the four that are listed, not the one that the picture looks like this unit. ;-)

Only complaint I have is that the float sensor can get finicky and the unit thinks it's full, when it's actually not, but I seem to have resolved that quirk.

So good I bought another

My house is partially underground so my finished 300 square foot basement room has a humidity issue and a cave cricket issue. This dehumidifier keeps the humidity under 40% with out batting an eye. That means my tools stay rust free and the crickets can't handle the dry conditions and stay out. We had some heavy rain a few weeks ago and a musty smell started in my living room. This second dehumidifier did the trick in one day. No more smell and the room is actually cooler. The app let's me set the desired humidity level from my phone and gives me alerts when the filter needs cleaning or the tank is full.
