A great dehumidifier. It performs great and is not too loud. I use this device in my basement and it does a good job of removing the excess humidity and has great features. I would recommend this item to anyone who is looking for a humidifier at reasonable cost.

If you’re looking for a Dehumidifier, this Honeywell is outstanding, I’ve had zero problems with it. Quiet runs. Efficient looks good in Best Buy for your money number one.

Large 70 pint Dehumidifier. Quiet with top & front numerical current humidity reading. Instruction manual is not elaborate nor specific. Plastic shell & collection bucket thinly constructed. Older Kenmore was strongly built.

Very pleased with how this unit operated right out of the box. Easy setup and began pulling the moisture out of the air immediately. I really like seeing the numbers on the face of the unit. I use it in a 1400 sf basement which shows 85 - 89 when unit is turned on. Within 3 hours, it is showing 44 - 49. After running overnight, it shows in the mid 30s which is very comfortable. (This is during Summer in Virginia so humidity levels are high). Water tank will fill overnight to level which automatically shuts the unit off. Easy to remove and empty the tank and reinstall it at which point unit automatically starts again. Unit is on wheels so can be easily rolled. I can also lift it with the carrying handle. Great unit.

Basement flooded and had to get a 2nd dehumidifier. I chose this model and am very happy with how well it works, how quiet it is and how well it, so far, has handled the work load of drying out our basement as well as maintaining the humidity level. I would definitely recommend this model.

Pros : Super quiet. WiFi works flawlessly. Large capacity. Cons : Should absolutely have a handle on the exterior of the tank. Requires two hands to remove and has spilled water every time on the floor.

Delivers on performace and is not too loud. Has a very minimal tank and the included hose for continual drainage is rather short ( only about 2 feet ).

Worked like it should. I tried to install the app but ran into a glitch so I never tried to reinstall it. I have a partly finished basement with access to 3 crawlspaces and this keeps the humidity down to 43-45 percent. The drain hose that comes in the box is worthless - buy yourself a regular garden hose like I did for external draining. The concern I have is that it runs continuously whereas previous dehumidifiers I owned shut off after reaching desired humidity level. However, those previous ones ran a lot anyway, so this is not a big deal. I am satisfied with this purchase.

Does the job as dehumidifier, and continuous drain easy to set up. But don't believe the manual regarding the fan: "The compressor will shut off once the relative humidity is 5% lower than your desired setting. The fan will continue to run for up to 3 minutes to cool the motor and will then shut off. " NO - fan runs continuously, meaning outside of hot & humid weather the unit will waste electricity and $$. Waiting for mfr. support to offer a refund. If BestBuy's return window was not a hilariously short 15 days, I would no longer own this.

excellent product, I have a one story home and it can get really cold/humid at night and hot/humid during the day which causes me issues health wise, this works exceptionally well. only detail that I did not know beforehand is that this works like a heater (by design) so it is a bit of a challenge to use when it is warmer. still a worthwhile investment especially in the winter, if you need a warm arid environment. easy to use.

I bought this model over the wire cutter recommendation of the GE because it has a 70 pint capacity versus 50. The GE mines are quieter. After spending close to half an hour trying to get it to work with the Wi-Fi through their iOS app, I finally gave up. Today is my second day using it and it keeps turning off for some reason. There's a good chance I will return it

The dehumidifier is fantastic, it works really well and has helped make our basement much more comfortable. The only reason I give it 4 out of 5 stars is because this is supposed to be a smart device, however the app that Honewell has designed to work with it is almost completely useless and has no integration with any of the already existing smart systems, at least not that i was able to find and link to. overall, great humidifier but the smart option is pretty much useless.

This unit is Awesome, from packaging to performance this unit is well worth every penny. The features are excellent, the unit is quite and great on energy consumption. I have it with the continuous drain with no issues. This is the best out of the four units I have ever had.

Terrific dehumidifier! We have tall ceilings and in the summer it makes a HUGE difference in the overall humidity in our home. We live in the south and humidity is brutal! I highly recommend this unit. Keeps humidity at 40% or less if you choose, all summer!

Setup was easy. Instructions for connecting to wifi were not as clear as they could be, but the process was not as hard as some reviews made it sound. Once connected, I really like being able to monitor the humidity in my basement on my phone, and I can control fan speed and turn it on and off remotely. It seems to struggle to keep my basement at 50 percent humidity, and my basement is less than 900 sq. ft, which is much less than the area it is advertised to handle. The fan has to be on high most of the time, and I'm a little concerned that it won't be able to keep it at 50 percent during the middle of the summer here in Maryland. Some reviews found it noisier than some other models. Unless I open the basement door I can't hear it, and it's quieter than an air conditioner, even on high fan. It works reasonably well, and I suspect you can't do much better with a residential dehumidifier of any brand.

The unit works fine , pulls the damp out of the basement and runs quietly. I must use it with the bucket which could hold just a tad more so I don't need to dump it so often.

We have only used this a month ….but are very pleased with it being quiet, easy to operate and easy to empty and replace the bucket….I’ll be very pleased if we get more than 2 years out of it.

Works great have used it in the basement and new garage this thing pulls the water out of the air. Ive owned a few different dehumidifiers and they never last we shall see ive had this one for about 2 years and still works great. Get what you pay for?, we shall see.

Very quiet, wish the plug-in and drain hose lines were a bit longer. I replaced the drain hose with a longer washing machine drain hose
