    Was looking to be able to remotely control my thermostat without spending too much. This has worked great for us. Getting the Honeywell account activated did give a little hassle since it would not send the email to a yahoo account. It's nice to have my routine setup for when I leave and return home.

    Compared to their more expensive options I think this one is a great thermostat. It offers a lot of the features you get with some of the bigger names like best and ecobee. You still get schedules, geofencing, and smart controls. Might be 5 stars if I didn’t have issues with the 1st one out of box.

    This smart thermostat isn't as flashy or full of features but it works pretty well with HomeKit. The Honeywell app is a little glitchy at times but if you have HomeKit or the Google/Amazon apps you'll be fine. Make sure you have a C-Wire before installing, this can be the trickiest part and took hours for me to figure out.

    I purchased this five months ago. Finally had enough with it and put the old unit back. It glitched so many time. In and out WiFi Connections but yesterday was the worst would not work with the ac no matter what; instead hot air were coming out.

    This is hands down my favorite piece of smart tech I own in my home. Being able to set up a geo fence and schedule times for when to start and stop my A/C has saved me a ton of money on my bill for a fraction of what the nest thermostat costs!

    I updated to this thermostat from an older non smart thermostat. Completely love it! Installation was easy. Came with alexia and have Honeywell app downloads on my phone for easy control of my home temperature when I'm away. You won't be sorry.

    Works just as well as the Nest. I’ve had both, and this works perfectly and is half the price of the Nest! The wiring needing adjusting when I installed it and Honeywell customer service texted with me to get it up and running.

    The T5 thermostat is fairly easy to install, you do need minimum technical knowledge. Setup of the thermostat is simple. The schedule options are not very flexible and it is not a learning thermostat like the nest. Still a good wi-fit enabled thermostat for the price!

    works great but not so easy to install , I had to google the blue wire and the app set up because some setting on the cell phone ( data use ) that blocks the install, I only the heather because I installed in winter and so far works great

    This thermostat was very easy to install. It had easy to follow instructions and included labels for the wiring so you don't mix up the wires. The app is very easy to use and you can control the temp manually or set a schedule. Excellent product.

    This is my third Honeywell wi-fi thermostat and the first one was trouble free but 2 and 3 were bad. I kept having trouble with them losing wi-fi connection. I bought a Nest and it’s been great. I should have bought a Nest in the first place.

    It is nice, but the instructions and description are not that accurate. I can't figure out how to make it "learn my habits" and it states that it will auto switch from heat to cool, and I have yes been able to force it to that.

    Works great, very user friendly, Siri works perfectly, and the scheduling is a nice feature. Installation was difficult because the old unit was a Trane and used different colored wires, once I figured that out, it worked perfectly.

    The Honeywell T5 is my next step into smart home technology and it’s so easy to use. I had it put in by professionals so I’m not sure how easy it is to install, but use is VERY easy! Touch technology that’s effective and effortless.

    I like how it’s easy to setup and how it connects to my phone so it knows when I’m home and when I’m not. My 2500 sq ft house has the same energy bill as a 900 sq ft apartment because of this thing.

    Only con is the lack of humidity sensor. Works fantastic with HomeKit. Very simple design and looks clean on the wall. It turns the AC/heat on/off to boot! Requires 5 wire thermostat wire

    I like the ability to turn the temp up or down while we are away. It’s also nice to adjust the temp from the recliner. That does sound lazy doesn’t it? It’s still a nice feature though. Lol
