It rotates, it has a variety of different settings for many functions. It performs well and provides heat as prescribed by the user. Also, I was able to buy it at the Best Buy Store!!!

While using it in our RV it maintain a 80 degree temperature in a 36 foot travel trailer with no problem. Outside temperature was 34 degrees.
