It doesn’t make too much noise so it doesn’t bother those around you. I highly recommend that if you are going to buy it please have in consideration that it’s better to have under the desk since it’s not that small.

The control over the amount of heat is great. Two power levels and a thermostat to control the room temperature. The only caution is it uses a lot of electricity in the "high" mode. Due to how my house circuits are set, the high mode popped my circuit breaker until I unplugged other devices.
