So, after using this Hoover – 64 Oz Paws and Claws Carpet Cleaning Formula on my carpets, What do I think of its cleaning quality? Terrific! I love it so much I bought the Value-Sized, 128 Oz, container to do my whole house. WooHoo! PROS: * EXCELLENT CARPET CLEANING – This is why Hoover's Paws & Claws is now my 'Go-To' carpet cleaner for both routine and spot cleaning. My two Toy Bichons Frises and four active Grand Kids make my carpet cleaning a never-ending challenge. I have always used a professional carpet service to clean my carpets, before. However, using my new Hoover SmartWash PET Complete Automatic Carpet Cleaner with Paws & Claws cleaning formula has convinced me DIY is far superior to the expensive pros. My results have been absolutely amazing. I use this formula also for pre-treating heavily soiled areas, and, those are the frequently travelled areas of the puppies and Grand Kids. Each container of Claws & Paws gives detailed instructions on how to mix this cleaner for both manual and automix machines. * EZ TO USE – Just following the directions on the container. It is plain and simple. No measuring cups are needed. Just fill the solution tank on the automix units and, or, fill the formula cap to 'Line 3' for each gallon of hot tap water on the manual mix machines. Keep in mind that this cleaning formula is two-times concentrated, and goes a long way. This formula can be sprayed on heavy stains at full-strength for even better results. For pre-treatment allow 10 minutes for the cleaning formula to activate. * FRESH AROMA – What I really love about this cleaner besides the amazing cleaning results is the cotton-breeze' aroma it leaves behind after deodorizing my puppy mishaps and Grand Kid's spills and outdoor tracking. What is surprising to me is that it neutralizes pet, tell-tale odors. YooHoo! * OTHER FEATURES – I live on six acres in a rural area of North Florida. We value our Springs and pristine environment. This product is Pet, Grand Kids, and Septic Tank Safe. How cool is that? It also contains 'Stain-Guard' technology, which helps keeps my carpets cleaner longer. Hoover states that Paws & Claws can also be used to clean furniture upholstery, car interiors and carpets, and carpeted stairwells. CONS: * NONE SUMMARY: I highly recommend this Hoover – 64 Oz Paws and Claws Carpet Cleaning Formula, especially if you have Pets and Active Grandchildren. Hoover has been the industry leader for over a hundred years in carpet cleaning machines, and, now liquid, carpet cleaning products, too. Hoover Paws & Claws carpet cleaning solutions is inexpensive, and, cost-effective for cleaning your entire house. I am impressed with my results over that of my past carpet cleaning service.

I use it with my Hoover Smartwash machine, and I have been impressed with how well it helps tackle messes and prevent future stains with its enzymatic ingredients and stainguard technology. I know it is cleaning well because of the brighter appearance of my carpet, and the dirty water container in my Smartwash machine is almost always black after each use. My carpet looks and feels much cleaner after using this cleaning formula. As a cat owner, there are occasional accidents or things that get knocked over, but this pet formula comes to the rescue. I would recommend it to all looking to address carpet stains and/or odors, even if you do not own a pet.

I used this with the Hoover Smartwash Pet Carpet Cleaner and it worked well. My dog sleeps in my daughter's room and he has had a few accidents that we spot treated, but the carpet never looked or smelled clean. After using this product the carpet looked fresher and smelled better. I also used this on a rug that everyone walks in on from the back door. My dog and family has left a few big spots on it from rainy days. This removed the spots and left the rug looking much better. I did have a few spots that I couldn't get out completely on my upstairs carpet, so I do recommend pretreating with a dedicated spot treatment before using. I really like that this product does leave the carpet fresh, but doesn't have a strong smell like some cleaners.

*Note: This product was used with a Hoover Smartwash Pet Complete Automatic Carpet Cleaner. This solution was used to clean a variety of carpet stains/messes in a household that has cats and dogs. The machine did all of the mixing so all I had to do is fill the cleaning solution tank and the cleaner did the rest. For hairballs and vomit stains one pass was all that was necessary, but for urine and feces, I did pre-treat the dried stains with Hoover Spot Chaser using the machine's detachable wand. Because these stains were darker and had a stronger scent, 2 full passes completely eliminated the stains and the scents, leaving the carpet clean and fresh smelling. I would recommend this product for anyone with kids, pets or both.

My wife and I were quite impressed with how well the Paws & Claws Carpet Cleaning Formula removed dirt from carpet that appeared to be clean. Our carpet is only about 3 years old and even though it looked clean, the Hoover Carpet Cleaner quickly sucked muddy looking water from the carpet. I didn't rate the product a full 5 stars because I have not been able to test the product on set in stains. I can't promise a miracle product, but it certainly does work quickly, pulling a lot of dirt out of carpet (without having to sit for any amount of time). The product is not overly scented and supposedly guards from future stains. My family is satisfied and would both purchase the product again and recommend to others.

We used this type of cleaning solution with our Hoover SmartWash+ PET Complete Automatic Carpet Washer. We had excellent results which you can see in the before and after photos below. The amount of dirt we pulled up is evident with how dark the water is.

Cleans up spots very well. I have a pet, and when it runs in and out the house, the paws are dirty, and leaves a build up of black marks on the carpet ( I have tan carpet) by the door. No issue cleaning. The scent (I think subtle floral) does not stay. I never tried other cleaners, so I am not sure how it compares to competitors. I had my carpet professionally cleaned, and it looks the same, surface level, when I do versus when they do.

This carpet cleaner is amazing after cleaning my carpets it had my rooms smelling so fresh and the carpet felt brand new underneath my feet I used it in my shampooer and only needed to use a little bit but that little bit went a long way.

First time using and I’m going to always use it. Worked wonders. I had stains from my dog and they came up wit no problem and smells great.

This product along with their oxy Spray Spot Remover Pre- treat. Are the best I have found for removing pet messes. I had my last carpet cleaner die on me so entry way went a little longer to clean than normal to get around to clearing. I thought it would not get clean with one try, wrong with these new cleaners they got the stains out no problems, the area was really dirty with foot traffic on top of dog messes. In just one pass in the worst area it was back to my light grey carpets. I will not use any other cleaner along as I can get this Paws and claws shampoo along with the oxy pretreatment solution!!!!!!

I've used a lot of different carpet cleaning solutions. This one is my favorite by far. I love the fresh scent. The cleaning power is truly the best I have seen.

This Hoover cleaning solution works well. I have an 8 yr old Bichon Frise dog and rent a town home. This products helps in removing stains and odors from my dog’s accidents on my carpet.

Used this with my new steamer and it did a great job cleaning and removing stains. It left the carpets smelling great as well!

I do not have anything to really compare it to. But it did clean the area we needed clean. I would purchase it again. I do think the price is a bit high for what it is.

The quality of this product is very good, the smell very good, and works very good cleaning a carpet

I was cleaning carpets in my home prior to moving in. The hoover paws and claws worked well enough but it didn't remove some of the tough stains. Even after spot treating them with Simple Green, the cleaning formula didn't remove the entire stain. I've since used Bissel Deep Clean Pro along with Simple Green pre-treatment and the stains are now gone. I don't have pets so I can't say how either product works with eliminating pet odors and stains.

This paws and claws was easy to use since it was premixed. Worked well on some of our harder spots on the rug.

This cleaner works well. It has a nice clean scent and it helps my rugs look and smell great.
