If you have a small house this is for you. Light weight and easy to maneuver. Love that it has a light on the head so you can see what you're vacuuming. Picks up well on carpet and hardwood floors. I use the carpet setting on my hardwood floors due to having 5 animals. Pick up their hair and cat litter very well. Only drawback is the battery life. Only lasts about 20-25 minutes. Had 2 purchase 2 of these so I could do my whole house. Almost cheaper to buy 2 than to buy a new battery.

I got this as a gift since my girl friend loves my dyson, and I was hoping to find an affordable comparison. It lasts about 30 mins running. The lights on the front are nice. Suction is nice on our hardwood floor, but the handheld detachable part is pretty weak on suction for our stairs. Running into the issues of needing to empty the unit every 10 minutes as hair blocks the filter pretty quick (and we have a cat). Otherwise its very easy and light and manuverable, just wish it was a little stronger and didnt get blocked so quick.

This was my 3rd vacuum purchased: for different households. One has had about 4 or 5 different brands through the years. And by far this is the absolute best cordless vacuum one has ever owned: Hoover made an awesome product here. The features are great: detached handheld or upright, rotating brush or just suction, crevice tool, floor light, 2 dust filters, easy to empty and clean, etc.. One will be convinced by the amount of dirt and dust it collects. To add to the desirability of this vacuum, be sure to order a high-capacity battery or two. You should not be disappointed: at least this purchaser wasn't.

Bought this as a replacement for a mid-high level Electrolux Ergorapido (battery wouldn't hold charge after 5 years). The Electrolux had adequate suction, looked good, and similar 2 in 1 function (stick or handheld vac). The Hoover performs similarly to our old Electrolux, with some pros and cons of each below: Hoover Pros - bigger dust cup, can vacuum with the brush rollers on (carpet) or off (hardwoods, etc.) which means not having to remove dog hair out of the brush as frequently, good suction (maybe a little better than the Electro), replaceable battery, very maneuverable cleaning head. Electrox Pros - better looking, better construction (feels more solid than the hoover) Reviews that criticize the Hoover's design for getting clogged have a little merit as pet hair does quickly stick to the filter when using. However, suction is still fine for a quick job despite this. You will definitely want to empty the cup after each use if you have a long haired pet like I do, but that goes for the Electrolux as well. There are certainly parts of the Hoover that feel cheaply made and I'm more worried about long term durability than I was with the Electrolux. Time will tell on that.

I only had this for a little over couple of weeks. It's definitely not for a deep clean but more for a quick clean up. And for its purpose, it does its job. It's convenient and lightweight so it's easy to handle. I think the multi cyclone is fairly effective but the overall size of the bin capacity is small so expect to empty it often. Also, like any other cyclone designs, the mesh in the bin will get caked on with dust so that's a lil inconvenient. Overall, I'm satisfied with the product.

I did some research online this one kept coming up. The unit was on sale when I purchased it so it was an even better deal. But the main thing is that it works pretty well, Just be patient with charging the battery. It also handles very well is light and has the removable canister for corners etc.

The Hoover Air cordless 2-in-1 has very good suction and makes for easy quick vacuuming on both carpets and hard floors. Being cordless and lightweigt, it is excellent for vacuuming carpeted stairways. My only criticism of this product is that it takes quite a while to fully recharge the included lithium battery. If you plan on using this vacuum as your primary or only vacuum, I would recommend purchasing a second battery so that you will have a second charged battery for extended useage time.

I bought both the Hoover 2 in 1 and the Dyson Absolute. I returned the Absolute. The Hoover maneuvers very well and shows all the dog hair on the floor! The battery can be taken out and charged. Great suction. Very light. Great price

My only complaint with this vac is that the battery life. It seems like every time I go to use it, the battery is near dead. Definitely more a function of the previous user forgetting to put the battery on the charger than anything else. It would be nice if the charging unit was integrated with the vac so the battery didn't have to be removed to charge.

I love this product because it has strong suction is light weight easy for smaller jobs I don't have to bend and can easily clean my Persian carpet without having to pull out the heavier upright. The handheld easily pops in and out for simple jobs. I only wish when using the upright the power would last a little longer. It's good for about 15 minutes.

This vacuum cleaner is very light weight and easy to use. It holds a charge for close to an hour. I use it on hardwood and area rugs for a weekly cleaning. It is also handy for quick clean ups as needed. I feel it is a good product for the price.

I picked this item after looking at the combination of weight, removable hand-held item, and price. Gave it to my 80 year old mother that wanted something to quickly clean the floors without a hassle. She said she likes it and is just what she was looking for.

We went into our local Best Buy expecting to buy another cordless vac that had been favorably reviewed online, but when we saw this one and took the display model for a spin, it compared favorably to the one we intended to buy--lighter, more maneuverable. Unfortunately, we couldn't test the actual vacuuming power because the display models weren't charged, so this one could be inferior to the one we planned to buy. But it seems sufficient for the spot-cleaning purpose we bought it for. It won't replace the more powerful full-sized vacuum cleaners, but for the usual small spills, it's sufficient and much easier than lugging the beast vac out of the closet, crawling under table to plug it in, etc. It's undoubtedly too soon to tell how well it, especially the battery, will last.

I'm happy to say this is a great little sucker lol. Not only does it have great suction power but it is also lightweight and on the small side which is a pleasure when you don't have room for a bulky vacuum. I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone looking for a great priced small vacuum that gets the job done. The coolest feature in this would be the led light it the front it really shows you where the dust is that you don't see with regular lighting or your eyes.

I'm handicapped and use a power wheelchair. I needed a stick vacuum for quick cleanups under my computer desk and in my cat's room. (I snack at my desk.) It's helped a lot in cleaning up my messes and cat litter. No cord makes a big difference in my situation.

Looked at a lot of alternatives before deciding on this Hoover. Very happy with it's performance - works well on hard surfaces and on a variety of carpeting and little edge brushes work well. Battery life is acceptable, but be sure to use motorized brush on carpet only to extend runtime (maybe 20-30 minutes). I can do a quick cleanup in my 2300 sq. ft. home on one charge. Be sure to clean dust cup (easy to wash out) and filter as recommended and clean brush as needed for best performance. I always charge and clean after each use so it's ready for next time!

Bought this for my parents and they love it. Lightweight and easy to maneuver. Strong suction. The detachable mini vacuum is awesome.

Good run time with 20v Li-On battery, I would not even consider anything less than an 18v or 20v battery for this type of vacuum. Separate switch positions for bare floor or carpet, Hand-held feature another plus, along with the light. Also, the stand-on-its-own feature is nice. The frequent cleaning/washing of the filter may be an inconvenience for some users.
