      Hi Mark,

      The Air Cordless 2-in-1 should have an average run time of 15 minutes. We do have upgraded 20V LithiumLife batteries that come with our other cordless products, such as the Air Cordless 3.0: http://bit.ly/1Bt8fud. You can also order extra batteries on our website. as for suction, please remove the the dirt cup and take out the filter. rinse it under warm water and let it dry 24 hours.       Hi there! This does not sound like Hoover quality and we have a few tips to help get everything back in working order! The charger should illuminate once the battery has been reset. Please try these steps below and feel free to leave us a comment on Facebook, tweet us @HooverUSA, or call 1-800-944-9200. We've got your back!

      1. Unplug the charger and leave it off for at least 1-2 minutes.
      2. Next, take the battery in question and put it in the unit. Then, turn the unit on and let it run for about 1-2 minutes.
      3. Now, turn the unit back off.
      4. Plug the charger back in and make sure you see a visible red and blue light.
      5. Finally, place the battery onto the charger.
      After completing these steps, the lights should begin to move in a sequence along the front which indicates the battery has been reset. Hoover
