Works great on our wood grain tiles floors, it is lightweight and easy to use

I had been looking for a product like this Hoover Floormate for some time. I found this and bought it. I did not expect much but took a chance. The product far exceeded my expectations when using on both our travertine and porceline floors. Cleaned well with no mess. Simple to use, great results. I have only used once so far so cannot attest to its long term durability.

I use this on laminate floors safely, just don't overdo the water you put down. Use the DRY setting quickly and your floors will be fine. I have a dog who will not potty train.......finally my house has no odd doggy odor from his mistakes.

I had a Hoover Water Vac 30 years ago and it was great for scrubbing vinyl and tile floors. However, after 25 years of use it finally bit the dust. Even though there were some negative reviews on this Floormate, I purchased it anyway since I was basically concerned with cleaning tile floors and really liked the old Hoover Water Vac I had. My floors are composed of textured ceramic tile which will trap dirt in some of the little uneven areas. I thought that the brushes on the Floormate would clean this easily. However, I found that was not the case. No matter how much cleaning solution I put on the floor from the unit, the brushes did reach the trapped dirt. On the plus side, the suction to vac up the water was super. Possibly, if the option to vac up the water was on a seperate switch, it would give the cleaning solution more time to sit and loosen up the dirt coupled with the scrubbing action of the burshes. My old Hoover Water Vac did have a seperate switch to vac up the water, which enabled the solution to stay on the floor longer and not be sucked up as soon as it was put down. I was disappointed in the performance of the Floormate on my tile, but feel it will probably do a better job on smooth ceramic tile and wood floors.

Easy, Quick, Thorough cleaning job, left my floors spotless, smelling fresh, and I didn't have to scrub on my knees for a quality clean. One down side is when you are taking it apart to clean after use, it leaks a little bit, so do it on a towel or just wipe the drips up. I was so skeptical when I bought this and so pleasantly surprised. I was able to scrub more floor than I thought with 1 tank of water/soap, The floor was very dry and very clean with the back and forth scrub and suction motion. It was easy to assemble, but I had to read instructions to remove front of machine to clean it, you have to pull and lift. Hoover - FloorMate Deluxe Hard Floor Cleaner is My new favorite time saver and is better job and all mops or pads.

This product leaks causing a MAJOR SLIP AND FALL ISSUE! Whether it is on or off the fluid in the 'clean water' reservoir leaks leaving large, unexpected puddles. I fell (slipped) once. Also, when using the suction option, the clean water spews out. Again, puddles. This product is DANAGER AND WILL CAUSE INJURY.

I bought this for a friend to lighten up her load for Christmas and she absolutely loves this product.

I looked online for this machine, the scrubber vs the steam cleaner. I thought, "scrubbers" oh nice, this should clean everything I need cleaning. Excited, purchased online, picked up, took home opened and assembled read directions which we men do, sometimes, and then started it up! I watched in sheer and utter disappointment as the water wet the floor, listening to the loud vacuum sucking up the water all while those nice counter rotating brushes did absolutely nothing. Yes they did spin, just good enough to rub the floor like wiping a counter top. I recommend this model for folks whose floor is already clean and just needs a nice light touch. But any thing more than that this machine is not made to really clean! Its more like a rub than a scrub! I returned the item the same day!

I got the last version, and updated with this one. The cleaning power is much better, and it's good to have bigger tank now.

I use a Floormate at home and when my company decided to discontinue is their cleaning service, I suggested purchasing this product. It works well and cleans up behind itself. No more messy mop water.

one of the best floor cleaners I have ever used. Easy to use and easy to clean.

I bought one, used it a few times then water/cleaning solution stopped coming out. I had to take it to a certified service center. They took it and 3 weeks later they gave me a brand new one. After a couple uses, the exact same thing happened. Now I have to decide if I want to go through that again or just buy something else because I don't want this thing now.

The on and off button gives me issue and the battery also gives me issue. The vacuum works alright on flat hard surface, but is useless on tile and texture floors. The battery charger hums off and on. The batter also dies quickly and tales long to charge. When I turn it off and come back to use it a puddle of water is left behind.
