The Hoover Floormate is lightweight and easy to use. It is so much better than mopping. It dispenses the cleaning solution and then picks it up into the dirty water side, so the floors are truly clean when I finish. Our floors are porcelain tile and it vacuums up the solution so well that I've found I don't even need to use the dry mode.

I owned the first model and I'm buying this as an upgrade I must say I am truly impressed the first worked great this one works absolutely awesome I have two dogs and can honestly say my floor is clean enough for them to eat off haha does a super job leaving no chemical residue

I have tried mops, the shark, etc and nothing cleans the floor the way it looks after you clean it on your hands and knees. My back breaks every time I do it. I bought this in hopes I would once again find something to save my aching back. To my surprise, I have finally found something that does an excellent job! I put warm water and a little murphy's soap in the water tank, and it makes my floor look the way it does when I clean on my hands and knees.. I love this machine!

This is the perfect solution to clean my tile floors. It doesn't have a super long cord, but honestly its not a big inconvenience just to find another outlet to finish the job.

With stone floors in the kitchen, mopping can be an experience. Especially when it comes to the grout. I purchased this item with the grout in mind. The machine did not do well for anything but the stone surface. It may have been better if the treatment recommended in the owners manual could be found within a hundred miles. The grout brushes were too flat to scrub between. That was the bad, now for the good... I did take a chance and used it on my sealed hardwood. Let's say I was very pleasantly surprised. Although diligent about using a robotic vacuum and damp mopping, I was not only surprised by the amount of dirt the machine sucked up but how much refreshed and shiny my floors were afterwards. Bottom line, it will not eliminate careful cleaning on stone grout but it does a great job on hardwood as it sucks up the dirty water instead of pushing it around.

Vacuum sucks up excess water great! Scrub's good, but not so great. But it does the job. You will definitely see chocolate milk water...lol. You will definitely not need a fan to dry your floor.

This is an awesome floor cleaner. We've tried many and this is by far the best and easiest floor cleaner on the market. It actually does what it says. Unlike other floor steamers that just push dirt around with a pad, this one actually picks up the dirt and you can see as evidence with the dirty water filter tank. If you have tile and hard wood floors in your home, then you need this machine. It takes time, so be patience, but it gets the job done.

Excellent floor cleaner. My old machine finally died and this was the updated model. I have gotten a lot of my friends hooked on this product. It was shipped to the store and there were no problems. Service was excellent and the rep who took my order was outstanding...product arrived quickly.

Larger clean water tank that is easy to check. More cleaning allowed than the prior floormate model. Dirty water tank is easy to remove and really get clean. Front intake section is very easy to remove and clean. Not as wide as prior model which requires more cleaning but you can also get into smaller areas. My only concern is that you cannot see the spinning brushes which were very visible in the prior model which told you if it was circulating. It does not feel like the sucking power is as good as the older model but I'm not sure yet.

Has made my life so much easier with pets accidents happen and dragging out the mop and bucket is a pain I love this investment!!! It's so easy to set up and clean!!! Only pet peeve is the power button is on the side of the machine unlike on the handle with most vacums being tall it's annoying

This product does wonders to my hard wood floors. So easy and great.

I purchased this scrubber to do my kitchen and dining room floors in my apartment. It did better than being on my hands and knees with a scrub brush, but it doesn't get into corners. I still have to scrub the areas where the brush doesn't fit. Maybe Hoover can come up with an attachment with a hose that can go in harder to reach areas. The length of the power cord is great, but you have to hold it so that you don't run over it with the scrubber. All in all it's a pretty decent product, and sure beats scrubbing the major part of the floors on my hands and knees.

Does the job. It's a lot better than older model I tried a few years ago. Still leaves some water- requiring you to go over some spots multiple times. sure beats getting down on your hands and knees to scrub though.

I bought to use on hardwood floors. It did a great cleaning job but did lay down water which is not recommended for hardwood. It also made streaks. Can not be used if there are any worn spots. I needed to return it.

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. We have hardwood floors thoughout the house and it's great especially with 2 small kids. When they spill stuff on the floor this floor cleaner quickly cleans up the mess! And when the floors have been cleaned they look great.

I have a tile floor in my kitchen which can be entered directly from the backyard. My 4 children track in lots of dirt which is trapped in the surface of the tile and the grout. This cleaner does a great job of removing the dirt and making the floor look much better.

Bought to replaced another Hoover floor and rug cleaner,had for at least 25 years.One thing I think the electric chord could be longer and the switch to turn on should be at top of handle..Reason don't have to bend down to look for it.It did a great job and that important...

2,000 sq feet of terrazzo, 2 young kids, a pool, and a wife who loves to garden makes for a lot of floor cleaning. This thing gets the job done right. After cleaning you can do the white glove test and come up perfectly clean. I typically have to fill up & empty out 3 times to clean the whole house. Way better than mop & bucket &semi clean floors.

Bought primarily to keep a textured ceramic tile kitchen floor clean. Needed something with brushes to get into grooves. Did a pretty good job - lots of dirty water in the tank at the end of each cycle. Not as powerful as a professional machine, but with regular use it seems to keep the floor "barefoot clean". One issue - the size of the head means it is just a smidge too high to get underneath of cabinets. Wish it were a bit smaller - or that there was a hand tool.
