I was on the fence between this and a cordless dyson. I should have gotten the dyson. It’s a nice cordless stick vacuum, but the canister is difficult to empty. You have to stick your finger or something slim to get the fur out. That’s not so fun. So if you are on the fence between this and a dyson, go with your gut. Get better suction and a better quality. If this is what you can afford, then this is a good product with minor inconveniences. It’s ok. It gets the job done. I still have to sweep afterwards, but it sucks up the majority of dirt and cat hair. I would recommend this for someone with one pet.

Very powerful, easy to handle and a long lasting battery

it clogs up easily the inside brush roll constantly gets tied up with hair which is what its designed for go figure and then the tools hardly have any suction at all ended up just busting on me all together oh and the latch for the container pops open n spills out everything you just vacuumed the battery doesn't even last 20 mins as well fully charged

We either had terrible luck, or this is not a well manufactured vacuum. We tried to use the wall hanger, but it could not support the weight of the vacuum. The vacuum fell and the latch of the dirt can broke. We returned it under warranty. Got a new one, this one died within three months. The brush will not spin anymore. The motor will spin without the brush, but once you get the brush in, it stops working.

Unfortunately I returned this item after 2 days. It doesn’t maintain a good charge and the suction is terrible! It was supposed to have a better suction because of the “pet” line, but it’s no good! I did like the double click ability to keep from holding the trigger, but that’s it!

A must have if have animals and hard wood floors and carpet

Bought this based on other reviews, needing something cordless that could handle an above average amount of pet hair. This was to replace a Dyson, however, we ended up having the same issues. Battery life wasn't fantastic, the canister design is horrible- but I believe this to be the case across many of these cordless varieties. We're going to try a roomba now to see if that is any better. The one saving grace of this model is that it is much quieter than any other model we've had.

This is my first cordless vacuum and I enjoy it very much. My only issue is the battery because sometimes it seems as if it isn’t in good and would have a rough start when turning it on. I would have to remove the battery and reinsert it a few times. Other than that, once it’s started it’s all good.

This cordless vacuum is perfect for sweeping the stairs, under my furniture. Having multiple kitties, it actually picks up their hair off of everything. I was looking for a lightweight sweeper and this is the one.

Vacuum is pet friendly-ish. It isn’t too loud to where it’ll bother MY cat. Maintenance isn’t a problem. I typically remove the dust and hair from the filter manually then use some wet wipe to clean the rest.

It worked great for about 6 months. I always hated how top heavy it is. Even the part they give you to store it on your wall has broken off many times, I always removed the battery before placing on the wall unit and it still fell/broke off a few times. Even if you just give up on the wall unit, and attempt to store it in your utility space in a corner it still constantly falls because of how top heavy it is. I got past that but it quit working on me about a month ago. I took the bottom pieces apart and cleaned out, as I though too much of my very long hair had resulted in the brush to stop spinning, but after reading other reviews it looks like a MFG defect. I plan to bring back in to Best Buy before the 1 year to see if Hoover will replace or fix. However, Ill never buy a hoover product again and keep buying Bissell. Never had any issue with bissell products even after using for long dog hair. I no longer have a dog, this hoover was simply used for a 1-bedroom apartment with majority of wood floor, very easily to clean and it still broke !

I bought this vacuum on sale and let me tell you that it does not disappoint! I would recommend this over a dyson because of the price and it works just as good. Battery life is great as well

I’ve used this stick vacuum a lot, and it is effective Easy to use, only improvement I can suggest would be to improve the ease of charging and offer a second battery

We bought this for our trailer when we go camping, the battery is very cumbersome to get in and out. The suction is sub par, it does not pick up small pebbles or crumbs. I found myself sweeping, vacuuming and than sweeping again. Not a good buy for the money!

Easy to use but doesn't have the greatest suction at times.
