The Hoover Linx isn't fancy, doesn't come with brush attachments, but it will clean your floors better than most of the other stick vacuums for a reasonable price.

The Linx has a removable battery pack that is much more convenient to use than some of the other cordless vacs. The battery is easy to charge and stays charged for what seems like a long time. The vac does a good job of picking up dirt and dog hair. It does better when you vacuum slowly over rugs - but it does the job. Great vac for the price.

this is our second one. the handle broke on the first one after many years of use and it needed a new battery so it was just as cheap to get a new one rather than fix the old one. we use it to clean up our tile floor in the kitchen after meals and it is great!!

My kids use this vacuum as part of their chores. It is super light and so easy to use since there are no cords. They vacuum up all the crumbs, dust, dirt with no effort.

This little cordless vac has great suction. I have a Lab who is shedding like crazy, and it picks up her hair on both the carpets and hardwood floors. My only complaint is that you have to keep a careful watch on the compartment that holds the dirt. One time it over-filled, completely jammed, and I had to take out all the screws in the bottom of the vac and kept poking a wire through to get out all the stuck debris.

Used to have a prior version (I believe it was the same company), that required to plug in to recharge after every use. The already limited battery life continued to diminish until it was useless since the battery could not be replaced. What an environmental waste. This vacuum comes with an easily removable battery that charges on a separate charger. No need to find a location to store the vacuum near an outlet anymore. Simple, but smart. And the battery lasts longer than prior versions. The vacuum works well on our tile and Pergo floor. Picks up most things with one or two passses. Have not used it on carpet. Although we don't really need it for our size floors, I would recommend buying a 2nd battery so you can swap it out to finish a bigger job. So far, this was a great purchase, especially on a daily deal.

We have a need for quick clean up of hardwood floor in kitchen and hardwood floors in family room where we have a great area rug, but it sheds. We had been using a hand held Black&Decker Dust Buster that we still use for clean up or small areas. The Hoover allows us to clean both rooms with one charge of the battery. The hand held Dust Buster would be to much bending over to do two rooms. Like the REMOVABLE LITHIUM battery as opposed to some cordless stick that requires attaching the whole vacuum to a charger. At $150 price was also a consideration. Also cleans small low pile kitchen rugs.

Very light weight and battery lasts a reasonable amount of time. Suction power on carpets could be better.

This is the best stick vacuum I could find for the money. Extremely simple to use, so handy to just be able to grab it and pick up dirt quick. It picks up pet hair quite well but also if you have a larger dog with long hair it tends to get wrapped up on the roller or jammed up inside the dirty trap. Battery only lasts about 15 minutes and takes around 3 hours to fully charge. You could buy a second battery but they are not very cheap.

Excellent product! We have been pleased with the ease of use and power of battery.

Has good suction, used on hard wood floors, area rugs, tiled floors. Picks up good on all. Biggest downfall is battery life, our downstairs is 2200 sq. ft., battery will stay charged for a light cleaning/quick pass over of these areas, but not if you vacuum heavily. One other slight problem is it will not stand upright unless on my hardwood floor or tiled floor (will tilt forward on shag rugs). Overall pleased.

I love it. It works great! Whenever I want to clean something in a hurry and don't want to pull out the old Hoover, I pull this out and vacuum away!

Great item very light weight. Functions extremely well and easy to use and assemble

This was easy to use, did and okay job with picking up particles (I had to go over the carpet a few times to get everything), light in weight, cordless and the battery last long and easy to empty. The cons were that you had to charge the battery pack and insert it into the vacuum, also it cannot be used as a handheld which is part of the reason I returned.

We bought this to use on our laminate flooring. We did not want to lug around the bulky corded one we have. It works perfectly fine for this reason. Even bought the mother in law one.
