Customers regard the Linx Cordless Stick Vacuum highly, praising its lightweight design, strong suction, and ease of use. Many appreciate the long battery life and its effectiveness on various floor types. While some users mentioned occasional clogging and a desire for more attachments, the overall feedback points to a powerful and convenient cordless vacuum. The positive comments on performance and ease of use outweigh the minor drawbacks.

this vacuum has made my life much easier. i have a finished basement with tile floor and area rug and this vacuum has no issues going from rug to tile. Its light weight and easy to maneuver. Picks up everything i have come across. But the major plus is no cord to plug in and drag around, just plug in battery and go. very easy.

My wife and I have two cats, and she loves to clean. These things don't always go together, since cats get fur everywhere, and so it's impossible to keep our place clean all the time.
So we have three vacuums - a Dyson, a Roomba, and now this one. The Dyson is corded and cumbersome, but versatile. The Roomba doesn't hold much, and doesn't always cover an entire room, but involves little effort on your part.
The Hoover Linx is... interesting. It has a rechargeable battery that can be easily removed, but it only lasts for 15 minutes or so and takes three hours to recharge, so unless you live in a tiny NYC apartment, you're not going to be vacuuming everything in one go. If you want to do one room, though, or you've got a tough job like a heavily saturated area of cat fur or a pile of food crumbs, nothing picks up stuff like this vacuum. It gets things that our other ones routinely miss. It's a spot-cleaner, a pinch-hitter. It's light and portable and gets almost anywhere. Just don't expect to clean couches or stairs or anything, because there are no attachments.
Oh, I like it too, by the way. She doesn't do ALL the vacuuming. She just enjoys it, for some reason. So I was happy to nab this on a deal of the day at BBY.

Better suction than other brand. Easy to move around over carpet or hardwood floor. Nice feature - switch to move from hard surface to carpet. Battery lasts for 10-15 minutes. Better to get extra battery for longer cleaning time.

For the price ...and even better on sale, you're getting an incredible vacuum. It is stronger than I'd expected, the battery length is longer than expected, it's very easy to empty, it's lightweight, the head swivels for odd places.. and not having worry about the cord is the icing on the cake. Does well on wood, tile, and throw rugs. Very much recommended.

Works very well on wood, tile, and similar flooring (setting 1), as well as short pile carpet (setting 2). LiIon battery life is good, could be longer; recharges easily, but takes over an hour. Canister empties easily, but do in garbage can for both the lower and upper sections. Great on dog hair. There's a foam filter that needs to be removed and rinsed. Follow the instructions: wait 24 hours before reinstalling. Sounds labor intensive, however, good maintenance will result in outstanding service. Moves and turns very easily. No attachments, but that's not the purpose of this type of vacuum, is it?

I bought the Linx to replace a corded stick vac, which was loud and needed to be re-plugged into several different outlets in order to vac all our hard floors. The Linx is powerful for a cordless vac and does a great job on the hard surfaces. Does a great job along the edges. It also does a wonderful job on carpet and rugs, something that my old stick vac did poorly. This is the ideal vac to use between uses of my big, heavy Dyson. The Linx is so light and easy to use I actually look for excuses to use it. The battery will provide about 12-15 minutes of power but because the battery is Li-ion, you get full power for the whole duration. I paid $160 for this on sale and that's expensive if you consider it to be a glorified stick vac. However, it's reasonably priced if you look at it as being a compact Hoover Windtunnel, which it actually is. The powered rotating brush can be switched off for cleaning hard surfaces, which is nice and which also marginally increases battery life. Be aware that this unit accommodates no accessories ie; wands, crevice tools, etc. so you'll not be using it to get that spider on the wall. It's an upright cleaner only. Won't do stairs. The Linx does a really good job at what it was designed to do. I've used mine twice already today.

Our old hand-held / stick vacuum broke so we needed a replacement. The reviews on the Hoover Link were very positive so we tried it out. What a huge improvement over our old stick vacuum! It has a lot of power, seems to do a great job sucking up all the dirt from hardwood floors as well as our carpets. Very light and easy to manuever. So far, no issues. Battery life seems to be pretty good so far.

My mom was the first to purchase one of these vacuums. I came home from vacation and went and bought one because it's so easy and convenient. A lot of restaurants use this same one. I now purchased one for my daughter for her new home. Pluses, it has no cord, no batteries, no bags and cleans over carpet, tile and wood floors. I have been a owner of orecks over the past 25 years and still love my oreck but this is so low maintance and not dragging a cord around the house. There is a rechargeable battery pack and that no hassle. This vacuum I would 100% recommend to the elderly because of the light weight, easy to manage and does not take up space so you can park it anywhere you would have your broom and dustpan. Go to Best Buy and price match with Amazon or another website they price match with and its a win win for you wallet and your home.

I bought an identical vacuum a few years ago and I love it. The battery is still strong and the vacuum is lightweight with good power. It is perfect for quick clean up on carpet or hard surfaces. This vacuum is a gift for my mother.

This little gem is cordless, small, easy to handle and powerful! I can't say anything that I don't like about it. The battery charges quickly. It's easy to store and gets into tight places because of it's small size. I bought one for a Christmas present and then had to buy one for myself.

I researched cordless stick vacs in length before deciding on the Linx. It is everything the reviewers praised it for: powerful suction, swivels and maneuverability, good battery life, light weight and so easy to zip around wood and tile floors. Picks up EVERYTHING!!

We have both tile & laminate floors, 3 cats and 2 big dogs. Cats are in and out and the dogs stay in. Lots of fur/hair especially from the Shepard when the weather heats up. I am able to easily vacuum a 1500 sq ft house on 1 charge. I love the fact that you can vacuum with or with out the brush. It saves on charge on the floors and the brush works great on the mats/small rugs around the house. Just what i was looking for. Its a little pricey but was worth spending a little more. Would have given it a 5 except for the price and haven't had it long enough to comment on life of battery.

Assembling the product was fairly easy. Very convenient to move around without hassle. Picks it majority of small particles. Drawbacks are that it takes longer to charge than actual use (3 hr charge to 20-25 min of usage). Bag fills up fast with dirt so have to monitor that too. Some smaller specs I noticed were not picked so I had to run it over certain spots more than one time. Overall, it is good for its purpose. Simple task and easy to move around with any cords.

Works great. Very light, compact and easy to use. Just keep it nearby, clean up quickly anything you see on your carpet or floor or do a few rooms. Charge lasts ample time, at least about 15-25 minutes depending on if you have the brushes on or not. Purchased on sale and well worth it, about $90.

I bought this vacuum after reading the reviews. I wasn't sure if it would replace my old Shark, but boy did it. It has excellent suction with or without the brush turned on, and I really like the lithium battery. It doesn't bother me that you remove the battery to charge it, as it only takes about three hours to be fully charged. If I really needed it, I could always buy an extra battery. So far, I haven't seen the need for that. I love my Linx !
