We've only used this in our kitchen area, but it picks up dirt well. I thought the separate charger would be a problem, but it's easy to pop out the battery to place in the charger. Because we don't use the vacuum over an extensive area, the charge lasts for several days. I noticed they had a model with a built-in hand vacuum, but it was more expensive. I felt the price was fair because they price-matched an online price.

Very convenient to grab for quick, spur-of-the-moment clean up. Good battery life for more thorough room-to-room cleaning. Lightweight, easy to handle. Good suction.

This is a great vacuum for the price - lightweight, cordless, and bagless. Easily recharged and the sweeper head is small to get into corners and tight spaces.

I have owned this unit for 5 years, yes 5 years, and it is still going strong. I haven't noticed any loss of power or battery length. It still picks up as good today as the day I bought it. I can clean all the hardwoods and tile in my house on one battery. I like how light it is. The only knock on it is that sometimes the canister comes off if I accidentally hit something, like a chair or stool, and it makes a terrible screeching. It never really feels like it completely locks in. Other than that, I love this thing. It has paid for itself twice over. It doesn't have attachments, but I knew that and I didn't need them. I have two dogs, and I needed to get the hair up, and it does that very well.

The woman who recommended this cordless vacuum brought it up in an unrelated conversation and spoke of how thrilled she was with how it helped keep all floor surfaces clean. She remarked on how easy it was to grab this light weight, cordless sweeper for tracked in debris and annoying spills and it could be kept nearby for quick access. She was so convincing, I had to have one! She was so right.

Linx is a light weight cordless vacuum. Good for picking up pet hair. Long lasting battery. Easy to empty canister. No bags.

For a light weight vacuum that's easy to grab and use, this one is good. Easy to store and quick to use and does a decent job.

Excellent vacuum. I have two. I have one for my home and one for my beach house. I gave one to my son-in-law for Christmas because, he loved my it so much. After I made the on-line purchase, I went back on-line for find an extra battery for it. I saw that Best Buy had put the vacuum on sale. I went over to the store and presented my paperwork. They could not have been more accommodating. They credited my purchase and actually it gave me enough money to buy the battery.

I LOVE this vacuum. I've tried 4 other stick vacuums and didn't like them at all. I have two black cats (one long haired) who leave hair all over my light colored rugs. This vacuum cleans it up in a snap, and I don't have to work up a sweat using the regular vacuum. It's lightweight and couldn't be simplier to use and empty--and you won't need a shower after using it. It's also great on hard wood floors, on the steps and for vacuuming up hair in the bathroom. It's flexible too and gets into tight spaces. It works for about 20 minutes before the battery needs to be recharged. I have two, one upstairs and one down. I like this product so much, I've given one to my niece and one to my son and daughter-in-law. I've had to special order it on more than one occasion because I couldn't find them in stock. Very convenient to use and does a great job!

After much research and reading reviews I decided to go with the Hoover Linx. LOVE IT! Charges in 3 hours (separate batter can be removed and charged). Lightweight, great suction, easy to clean. Great buy! Best Buy will price match too!

This vacuum is excellent. Solid build, reliable maker, and plenty of power. The battery lasts to do the whole house and then some. It never losses suction even when the battery indicator is low. I bought on the Best Buy Deal of the Day promotion, but even at full retail price this vacuum is a great purchase. Highly recommend this one !!!

I BOUGHT THIS ON SALE. IT WAS A DEAL OF THE DAY. I LOVE THIS VACUUM CLEANER. BEING CORDLESS, YOU CAN GRAB IT OUT ANYTIME FOR QUICK CLEANUPS OR THE WHOLE HOUSE. IT WORKS ON FLOORS AND CARPETS AND MANEUVERS AROUND EVERYTHING. GREAT SUCTION, EASY TO DUMP CANISTER AND YOU JUST PLUG IN THE BATTERY TO RECHARGE AND YOU ARE GOOD TO GO!

This is my second Linx. The first lasted almost five years with almost daily use. Excellent at picking up dog hair (with two Golden Retrievers there is lots of hair!). Works on hard surfaces and on rugs. Could not be easier and a fully charged battery lasts well over 10 minutes. Of course, I have a second battery (from my first Linx) in case I need more time. This is by far the best cordless vacuum on the market!

Very easy to use and maneuvers around well. Love it for dust bunnies and hair fluffs. Very easy to clean out without getting dirt everywhere. Does not pick up larger items like dog food kibbles, plastic tabs, slips of paper, and other things of that size. My best results come by sweeping for larger items first and then following with this to get all the hair that seems to escape the brooming. I have quite a bit of tile and the battery lasts a long time.

I love this purchase! I have a very hairy dog (70 lbs), and I feel like I am constantly picking up hair. This vacuum cleaner is great for picking up all the dirt and hair that the dog leaves behind. It has no problem with all that hair! The charge lasts long enough for me to clean the entire downstairs. I followed other reviewers' advise, and I don't leave the battery on the charger any longer than needed.

After a couple of friends recommended this vacuum, I purchased one a year ago. I love it so bought this one for my son for Christmas. It is so quick and easy to use..... good for wood floors especially. It is also quick and easy to empty the chamber. The only problem is that you need a spare battery to do more rooms... And that is expensive. Best Buy delivered free and quick directly to Son in New Jersey in time for Christmas!

It's lightweight and seems to pick up well and hold charge well

My first cordless vacuum, I bought it as a deal of the day because I didn't believe it would have the power to do a great job. I needed some lightweight cordless vacuum for stairs and second-floor cleaning. I am so glad I gave it a try, easy to put together, couldn't wait to have a battery charged and run the first round. I have a long hair dog and this vacuum is doing an amazing job of picking up all her hair from carpets and vinyl tiles. Highly recommend this great cleaning tool with very good suction, stronger than I expected.
