Bought as Christmas gift for daughter's boyfriend. Has business with a couple rugged areas. Specifically wanted a cordless model. Reviews on this model where very good and the item seems to be living up to the reviews. He states that it works well, very lightweight and small/space saving for storage. He seems very happy with it!

I really like using this on our laminate floors. It's light, easy to carry around, the charge lasts a reasonable amount of time, and it picks up well. I do not use it much on carpet, though.

I just installed hard wood floors throughout and I love how you can easily turn off and on the beater bar. It is light enough to carry up the stairs but powerful enough to get the dirt out of pile carpeting. Since it is cordless I use it every day with little effort.

I bought this as a replacement for the Electrolux stick vac. No comparison! This will pick up everything and is perfect for quick clean ups...even the kids like to help me vacuum! Love that you can switch from carpet to hard floor mode, easy to clean dirt cup, rechargeable battery is great and space saving. Buy it, you will love it!

Love this vacuum stick!! Works great on tile and hardwood floors. Has great suction and battery life. I have 2 dogs, works great on dog hair.

It was easy to set up right out of the box. It is light enough to use up/down stairs. I like how the stick moves as it turns. I love not having a bag and it is easy to clean the cup. I advise doing so after each use. I don't have problems with the charge up time or amount of use on a charge as I use this for touch-ups during the week on both hardwood and carpets/rugs.

I own three of these and several batteries and they are by far the best ones I've ever owned. We have them at the office and home and they really suction well. Carpets with our pet hair and tile also, vacuums both great. Runs long enough for large room to be gone over several times and then some.

Great battery operated vacuum. Its easy to use. Vacuums dog hair up on carpet, rugs or hardwood floors. Uses no bags, just dump the dirt canister into the trash. I had read good reviews before I purchased it. The last vacuum I bought a year ago for quick clean up jobs, I will be getting rid of. It didn't have the cleaning power this vacuum has. I very seldom write reviews. But, I did for this great, lightweight, powerful vacuum. You won't be disappointed!

The Hoover Linux Stick Vac is the best portable wireless Vac we've ever owned. The battery recharges quickly and lasts long between charges. The Vac does a great job picking up dirt and cat hair. The dirt chamber is easy to empty.

It picks up animal hair very well. I have three cats and one dog. It also picks up cat litter very well. Battery life isn't great unless you live in a smaller house or an apartment. I use it on wood and carpeted floors. It is very light weight which helps for vacuuming stairs and couch cushions. I haven't had any problems with it yet.

This vacuum is strong, has good battery life, and is easy to control and operate. It has a removable battery & stand alone charger, which is great, units with built in battery & charger are heavier and do not provide as good battery life. For price and performance this vacuum cant be beat!

First cordless stick vacuum that I've owned that is close to a real corded vacuum. Powerful and with the lithium battery runs without gradually losing power. Battery meter on front of unit makes it easy to keep track of charge. Charges rapidly in charger in approximately three hours.

i'm typically not a person to get excited about vacuum cleaners, much less cleaning, but having a coordless vacuum makes a HUGE difference in doing cleaning chores. i specifically sought out to get an upright with a lithium ion battery since it gives the best power throughout the life of the charge, and the LiNX is absolutely perfect for hardwood floors. i actually enjoy vacuuming now because it's so easy to go from room to room without having to plug/unplug. i know it sounds like a small thing, but it makes a big difference. also, while this is another small thing, the way the vacuum moves across the floor feels quite nice. i think the folks at hoover really thought this design through. additionally, the fact that the off/on/brush button is all on the handle is a nice touch - most vacuums have the brush feature on the bottom of the stick, which is kind of a pain. the battery lasts about 20-25 minutes of continuous use before it dies out. and because it's a lithium ion, it tends to give full power up to the last minute. anyway, if you have hardwood floors, this is an absolutely must. i don't know how well it works on carpet, though, so check out other reviews if that is what it'll be mainly used for.

Great vaccum, battery last 15-20 min, easy to use, light weight makes it the go to device for quick clean ups. It has very good suction on floor and carpet.

This works great to quick pick up all the hardwood & tile in the house and then clean the rugs as well without having to shake them every day or two. Long battery life and seems to be very effective grabbing the loose stuff on the floor.

I love this Stik vacuum. I grab it whenever I need to do a quick run over the floors. I wish it had a light, so I don't have to turn lights on in the hallways etc. The battery life is okay, would like it to be longer, but it wouldn't be so lightweight then. Easy to use, vacuums area rugs,try not to go off edge of runner, or it grabs it, just like a big vacuum. Cleaning rugs drains the battery faster, I wait to do them last. I think the latch to empty it should be changed. I find myself looking for the latch, rather than just grabbing a lever and dumping. Great product.

Powerful suction and the battery lasts a good deal of time. This is my second Linx and I charge one battery while the other is on the machine. In that way I always have a full battery ready to go. Only complaint, It makes quite a racket on wooden floors.

I use it to vacuum a 1600+ sq. ft. house that has both carpets and hardwood floors. It is so lightweight and maneuveralbe that it is a pleasure to use. It has such a low profile that it is possible to vacuum under the bottom shelf of some small bookcases and and reach farther under beds than previous vacuums I have used. It has only two annoying characteristics: (1) the battery life is not sufficient to complete vacuuming the entire house at one stretch--I have to plan some other activity in the middle of vacuuming to allow time for the battery to recharge--so I have been thinking of buying a second battery, and (2) the feature which allows it to stand upright when not in use sometimes is engaged while doing awkward jobs, e.g., steps where I have little room and I am not aware of it immediately. Until I realize it, the vacuum is not reaching the surface properly. But this is only momentary.

This is the best little vacuum ever! I have had several little vacs and I have never been satisfied. Either they weren't powerful enough, too big, too little or scattered all the dirt from the exhaust fan on the side before I could vacuum it. This one's perfect. I researched it and Consumer Reports rated it very high. It has great power, settings for bare floors and carpet, it's not too loud and the canister is super easy to empty. The battery lasts a long time. I have a puppy who makes lots of messes and I used it too many times to count before I had to recharge it. Oh, it has a light that tells you the battery life when you turn on the power. Also, and this is probably one of the greatest selling points, The battery comes out of the vac and recharges in a small charger. You don't have to plug in the whole vacuum!

It doesnt get any better than this. I am truly impressed with the nice design, light weight, power and best of all Cordless. I am amazed how powerful it is on both setting of using the brushes or not. I was able to find an additional battery with longer life for a low cost. I highly recommend you consider this vacuum. You wont be disappointed.
